It was my sisters birthday. Sitting in class and the principal just starts crying over the intercom to say the shuttle blew up. Because it had a teacher aboard many of the classrooms (not ours) were watching it.

Does "80's kid" mean you were born in the 80's? Because I was born in the first half of the 70's and everything in this thread feels firmly like a part of my childhood.
