The point was to hoist him by his own Petard. Applying the same bullshit standards to him, he applied to others.

Just to start off a slight list, I won't watch anything these clowns make anymore. I'll watch old stuff for the "good ol' days" vibe back when they didn't suck and kept their mouths shut, but these days I avoid their work. nobody, movies are the efforts of thousands of people and i judge a movie based on whether its entertaining or not, not the politics of one person involved. sure, i'm not gonna go watch a movie telling me i'm a cunt for eating meat (or one that sucks off Trump like D'Souza's movies) because I have zero interest in that shit, but although I think Roman Polanski is a huge piece of shit for raping kids I'd probably see a movie he made if it reviewed really well by people i trusted.

I wouldn't hand him directly money or go to a 1 man talk by him or buy a book he wrote or whatever that is a direct transfer of money from me to him, but I see a TV show or a movie as very different than that. I'd have zero problems either with Polanski going to ass rape jail for the rest of his life.

I don't really give a shit about what Kevin Spacey did, if he sexually harassed a few guys then thats on fucking them. A guy can tell another guy "HEY YO STOP TOUCHING MY DICK", if you can't do that then you are a retard. There is a HUGE level of difference between a rapist or sexual assault criminal in jail who went around breaking into houses and held down women and raped them and a dude who tells someone "hey, suck my dick and i'll make you famous". The criminal is an animal and does not belong in society. Most of the Hollywood scumbags are people with power and retards let that power blind them. Sure, if kids were involved then fuck them, let them rot in jail, but there has been afaik zero accusations of any wrongdoing against Gunn, just he said a lot of stupid shit on twitter. i bet there's a few actors that if i see them heading a movie i'm instantly skeptical. or a few directors, but if some one told me a movie with a dude in it was good, i wouldn't avoid seeing it on principle.

Though i think i'm still punishing starwars for episode 8. not sure if it's a 3 or 5 movie punishment.

there are certain actors that i'm just not interested in seeing. jlaw is definitely one of them. it's a little frustrating though because when she's on a talk show or some goofy youtube thing where it's her being her, she's kind of endearing in how awkward and weird she is. but then she talks politics and i'm like BLEEEEEHHHH. but yeah, i don't really like her in movies specifically because there's always this stupid "highest paid female actress but significantly lower than highest paid male actor" thing going on and it's like. listen honey, robert downey jr shouldn't even count. okay, take his name off the list. stop comparing yourself to him. it's not a male vs female thing, it's a talent thing and he's streets ahead.

tom cruise is probably the poster child for weirdo in real life but i have NO problem watching his movies. i mean, the MI movies are even better if you DON'T like tom cruise because they all spend the entire film series beating the piss out of him. but movies like last samurai and collateral? i don't care how oogy he makes me feel in real life, i LOVE those movies.

Most of the "lists" people on these boards are going to post will all be bullshit...because Tom Cruise is batshit fucking crazy but that motherfucker still puts out some good movies (MI6) that are worth watching.

Edit: Note I'm mainly talking politics, etc. people like Weinstein and on that level should be blacklisted.
