Vertical bought the rights to distribute it in North America, and under the trailer it looks like a Jan 3rd 2025 release date.

I love period piece horror films. Bonus is being set in a winter / snowy environment. This looks like a definite watch for me.

Didn't get shut off. Compact. Not enough Rory McCann. Feels like he was casted as a favor to signal boost the movie a little.

I really wanted to like this movie more. This wasn't bad, but I think it suffered from building up anticipation waiting for the release. It seemed a bit slow. There was decent tension, decent spookiness, and the concept was solid. Not a huge fan of the direction they took the ending.

This had potential but it suddenly ended all retarded.

Would have been better if Rory came back as a ghost and beat some undead ass. I think we all expected at least for the undead/haunt to be actual physical and real. I didn't think the pseudo-realistic direction the movie went in did it any favors. Ending sucked.

I don't care what they would need to write to make it work, but Rory shouldn't have just been bopped off and that's the end of it. Him kicking some ass on behalf of his friends against the augurs or w/e they were called would have been good. Just change the lore backstory for the haunt to fit that narrative more.

Yeah, sucks they bumped him off. I just don't get how the ending was supposed to make sense of the rest of the movie.
