Sad, but really, not so sad. He lived to be 89. Bro had a good life.

I never got to see him. I was going to see Stevie Ray Vaughan shortly before he died but that got screwed up and I missed him. I miss all the greats;(

Damn man. Missing out on a SRV concert would be heartbreaking. Sorry for your loss bro.

This is one of those deaths where you think, "Oh, I didn't realize he was still alive."

Sums it up fairly well. Guy is totally a legend.

Saw him twice.

Not much to say though. He lived well, died old, much respect for his ability.

Hang Luclielle in the Hall of Fame and worry about the kids that don't "get" the legend. Last of a generation.

I was kind of hoping they'd bury Lucille with him. Man, could he make her sing. The first time I heard him was a very profound experience for me.
