I need one, ideally a free one.

Any tips? If nothing I'll draw it by hand, which will have the benefit and disadvantage that I'll be the only one that can read them.

Thanks in advance

Depends on the process, if its an abstract process like a company SOP then you can use all the ones mentioned before, they are all pretty similar. I've built plenty with Visio. I would also suggest looking into Airtable as I've seen others built effective process frameworks in them.

If its a physical process, like a factory floor layout then LucidChart or SmartDraw

Right now it couldn't be more abstract to some folks, but that is ok.

Its an interesting job. Some people refuse to participate/contribute to projects they see as a danger. Projects with strict deadlines as part of short term goals as set by management.

I strongly believe in cutting loses and we have the budget to outsource a lot after that is done.

Knowledge will be lost, but knowledge people that don't want to move forward have, has little to no value anyway.

Thanks for all the input, I'm sure I can make some nice visuals to go along with this story.
