Wait what, GIBRALTA? Do you not need to have a football league to qualify? Is this just "fuck you Spain!"?

I'm looking forward to The Isle of Man and The Channel Islands joining Euro 2020, they have exactly the same status as Gibralta and have larger populations (x3 and x4 more). Jesus, Faeroe Islands is there too. At least Andora and Malta are actual countries even though they are small.

Switzerland was in the same group as Faroe Islands a few years back and for some reason it has a ridiculous number of football fields and football players compared to their population (wikipedia tells me they have a championship with 10 teams, which is pretty crazy when you consider there are 50,000 people on the islands!).

Faroe Islands have been in it a long time, I remember Belgium playing them in the '80s and '90s. Gibraltar is new to the EUFA and were actually first drawn in the group with Spain but then moved out because of political reasons.

Israel? That's "Ireland", an Island west of Great Britain and the second largest island of the British Isles. It's not part of the UK (just Northern Ireland is) and definitely part of Europe.

But kidding aside, we all know why Israel is not in the AFC.

Asian, but it's basically that. They kicked Israel out in 74.

I looked it up, Kasachstan is transcontinental, and all transcontinental countries are in the UEFA.

The Euro groups are a joke, every major nation (even England) will basically get in and the only interesting part will be what minor nation wins a playoff to get in and then get smashed in the actual tournament.
