Finished Alien Isolation on nightmare yesterday. One shot achievement is harder on nightmare but it’s not a big deal if you know your pathway. I recommend doing it on easy since the alien is much more stupid but I didn’t wanna replay it twice.

Recently purchased a PS5. Never owned a PS before so I’m hitting up a list put together by Utnayan. One down.

If you haven’t please play Uncharted.

I cannot wait for that to come to PC remastered. 2 is one of my favorite games of all time.

Finished Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This was a total pain in the ass. I really liked the Lego games for the first six Episodes, and breezed through them in the past before shelving this one about halfway through it. It's been on my home screen ever since nagging at me to get back to it. I dunno, the humor is great and these Lego games rule with other people, but running the single-player campaign by yourself is a chore because of how often the game throws obscure shit at you. Like stand in one specific spot and do one particular action or you're stuck in a room forever, kind of thing. I constantly had to check walkthroughs for this one and I hardly had to do that at all with Ep1-3 or Ep 4-6.

Also, since this one got its own game, it's way longer and more in-depth than the others (it's a little longer than one of the other trilogies combined). I wish literally any other Ep got that level of detail instead, especially 4 or 5. In any case, it's finally done. I'll still check out Skywalker Saga just to finally play Ep 8 and 9 when that comes out in a few months, but I really hope it's more action-oriented and less obscure than this one. Got a few ideas on what to tackle next but I won't have any real free time again until Monday.

I should look into these for the wife and I to play together. I've got a ton of the LEGO games, just never really played them much.

TBH that's when they're at their best, when you're playing the game with a chick. Or kids I'd assume.

Probably gonna (finally) take a swing at Bloodstained this week...either that or my backlogged Resident Evils. Basically the stuff I wanted to play for Halloween and didn't have time.

I picked a random game to start and finish (Thea: The Awakening) but it's a turn based game I didn't do any strat research on...so now I'm hundreds of turns in and about to restart now that giants and dragons are chasing me around the map and dunking on me.

Not for the contest sake, but I recently dove into Demon Souls remake, as I had initially beaten it back on the PS3 but I honestly forgot more then I remembered about it.

Nothing super challenging but man is this game gorgeous and the level design way better then I remembered.

Should have it completed in another week or so depending on how much time I get to play.

Thread inception. Rajaah Rajaah does yours count? Let’s keep it legal.
Is it cheating to count a game I beat after the start of thread but before I knew the contest existed?

Edit: completed after thread was started

Yep has to be after the thread was posted. :)

If we're counting games I beat after the thread was posted but before I joined the contest, I cleared Fell Seal and Dragon Quest 6 from the backlog before I officially joined said contest, but within the month of November. It was pretty well-documented in the threads for those games that I was trying to wrap them up.

For example. Unfortunately they're not PS4 games so I don't have accompanying timestamped trophies and as a result I'd be fine with not counting them. However if we're doing retroactive counting I'm definitely throwing these in. I can re-beat the final bosses and screenshot them with the date.

COTM1 done. Bloodstained trilogy has been backlogged for ages. Not sure if I'll take on COTM2 right now because it's said to be much harder, but we'll see how I'm feeling. I might jump right to Ritual or I might change course. Really wanting to knock off those old Resident Evils.

Yep, this is what I was asking. I know we’re not counting anything before 10/26/2021 because that’s when the thread started. But did I need to “join” the contest before beating a game to count it?

I beat Ori after the thread start date (see above) but before I knew about the contest.

Same with this one. Great game. I think someone on this board recommended it, so thank you to whoever that was.
