WARNO - Warning Order - lets you command your customized battlegroup and lead hundreds of Cold War-era units to victory on dynamic, tactical battlefields. Choose between the arsenals of NATO or the Warsaw Pact, and fight across a multitude of solo and online modes against challenging AI or human opponents in massive 10v10 battles. Show your mettle as a strategic commander in the turn-based Army General campaigns depicting a devastating, techno-thrilling World War III in Western Europe.



If anyone wants to try their hand at Cold-War-Era 'not so hardcore' wargaming, give WARNO a try. It's from the same company that release the Wargame- and SteelDivision-Series of games.

Current Early-Access is multiplayer (or vs AI) only, no campaign yet. You can play anything from 1vs1 to 4vs4 and then huge 10vs10 matches, the latter being good for getting your feet wet and learning the ropes.


Here's a tutoral if you want to give it a go and don't enjoy simply loading up a game vs AI to try things out. Quite a few divisions and other things (like modding) got added since this was recorded though:

Singleplayer, multiplayer, there is a lot of content that will keep you busy, both single- and multiplayer. Competative and cooperative.
