Gear should drop that is an immediate and obvious upgrade. Time-gating upgrades on armor slots (because that's what it is, no matter what level you're at), is a really dumb decision. The neck levels, if they wanted to keep that, should ONLY upgrade the neck's ilvl and leave armor alone. It's dumb and it makes me angry. Everything else in this expansion feels low effort, so I don't have a clue what the blizz boys have been working on this whole time.

How can you guys not like Mists of Zandalaria where there's sort of a war going on kinda but if you thought the prerelease stuff was going to set the tone you'd be dead fucking wrong hope you like Jamaicans. Sylvanas going from torching a capital city and world tree to just standing around Orgrimmar while her champion and life partner Nate fuck off to secure a new ally taking the first six months of the expansion was not what I was expecting.

I just hit 18 from passive gains and give no fucks. It takes so long for each level that there's no point in grinding your ass off for something you'll get for free in a week or two. Besides just the numbers being so high, something's missing this time around. It was actually fun to grind AP at the beginning of Legion, most people unlocking their third gold trait around when the first raid came out.

Almost every aspect of this expansion seems like a blatant attempt to stretch out their "time played" metric.

EDIT: One of his pulls just got shit on (good pull too) by a healer falling through the world. You can't make material this good if you tried.

The unlock pace vs acquisition of higher ilevel is a legitimate head scratcher. My best guess goes something like this:

The final two tiers in each Azerite piece are actually not intended to be used by anyone except as a catch-up mechanism. If you are coming into the content late (and thus benefittting from the progressively cheaper Heart progression) or are just slow then what you get is first a defensive trait and then a straight up ilevel boost to help boost you to the next stage.

Got lucky yesterday and got a 350 shield out of a m+ Atal'dazar, replacing a 325 blue shield. Just in time for the raid tonight, where I'm sure Vectis will drop a shield, because that's how my luck works.
