Yeah Project Epoch sounds exactly like Bronzebeard.

So Bronzebeard/Project Epoch will be classic+.

There is also Rexxar coming out at some point, it has 21 unique classes. But I'm pretty sure it has all of the other custom stuff that Ascension servers offer.

Project Epoch has world bosses, updated dungeons, and updated professions (this is a big one for me. Craftable tank shields!). It has WOTLK-esque talent trees and more ways to generate crafting materials. Which I think is good because Turtle Wow has the Chinese Cartel problem of camping high level ore, lotus and elemental essences. Which I hated.

Nah. The 21 unique classes have standard talent tree progression rather than the classless of base ascension.

No I mean Rexxar will have Manastorm, Ascension tokens, Prestiging, Trial raids, Ascension raids.

Everything is great except for Manastorm, which is a cancer and ruins the economy through run-away inflation.

Only thing that worries me is that they are using TBC talent approximations and everyone gets 10 extra talent points despite the cap being 60.

Undead paladin sounds cool.

I've been reading their Discord. Like half the devs are major Paladin dicksuckers it seems like. Some of the custom gear sets they have for Paladins seem to be a lot stronger than anything I remember.

If that's supposed to be a replacement for lawbringer tier stuff from MC it's probably within 'budget' for the ilvl, it's just hyper-focused so it looks nuts compared to classic gear that is covered in spirit and random resists etc.

As an added level of fun for this I am going to just make my own addons. Something I've wanted to do for awhile but never had time. Now that I can cut down the time exponentially with AI assistance this should be fun.

I haven't even started testing them yet. I just threw them together on Friday. They require client 3.3.5A. I'll be troubleshooting them in some time.

Anyone actually still playing? AQ is next week and from the sounds of it the gates will open within hours - basically as long as it takes to click all the quest turnins.

Roster boss has been hitting my guild hard to the point we're having to pug 3-5 DPS every week now. Hoping AQ gets people to log back on

AQ will have more people logging off....

Naxx and TBC will see an influx in population though.

Yeah, Jasker and I are in a solid guild on Dreamscythe alliance side. Always looking for more players, but we’ve been fielding a full raid every week (actually I believe guild has 4 raid teams with various days/times).

If anyone’s thinking of playing I can send startup gold I’m a young rich philanthropist.
