OK, question in case someone knows this...
Do the mobs still scale up HP if there are multiple people fighting them? It kinda feels like that. And my usual Sunday afternoon nonsense in the game is my wife and I running some delves and prey runs.
Also, funny when you're paired up and do prey and the timer is so obvious as you both always get ambushed at almost exactly the same time. I suppose in a group of 4 or 5 it would be hilarious.

Depends on the mob type. Normal mobs have little if any scaling. Named/rare elites have much higher scaling.

On my gnome rogue I used to mind control the guards outside the tunnel for AV and kill people sitting there waiting for their queue.

I was going to say that I thought Blizzard itself was fine but the WoW team is the DEI part of the company because games like Diablo aren't infected with the retard yet. Then I remembered Overwatch and realized maybe I'm wrong and the company is just so polluted there is zero hope.

The Diablo team was the only one somewhat uninfected. But if you read some of the scuttle around the first couple of game directors leaving and female character design, it wasn’t 100% spared. The dude leading it now probably did as good as he could in that company.

One of my childhood friends works on the diablo team as a 3d artist/modeler. I don't talk to him anymore but based on his social media he basically has the same views as Hasan Piker. I'd assume a lot of people at Blizzard are like him.

Honestly, Im kind of surprised by myself. This is the first time Ive ever NOT bought an expansion. Housing seems novel, but .. thats not me. I think Wildstar was the first time I ever fucked around with a house in an MMO and.. it didnt do anything for me. Just ends up being another system like Pet Battles that I dont engage in. Nothing wrong with it, and Im glad people that are playing like it. But there was like nothing about this expansion that got me excited.
The disney-fied, get rid of the horde and all races fly under one banner, diversity and inclusivity schtick.. I figured it would fade out eventually, but it looks like its in for the long haul. That shit doesnt help get rid of the "same-y" feeling I have for WoW at all.
I didnt buy the last D4 expansion, but Im on the fence about the newest one though. Some of it looks good and Ive seen a lot of praise coming out of the POE guys for D4 seasons lately.
It would be nice to have an MMO come out where everyone wanted to play it again, though. Miss the old raid nights where everyone was just kind of chilling, having a good time talking shit, etc.

I have been out of modern wow since pretty much the end of legion and I think I tried a small window of the one that came after which I think was shadowlands either way there is no draw to play it.
Diablo was a franchise I loved but I felt D4 launch also soured my desire to ever bother with Blizzard again. I saw Classic redux TBC is out and that is probably the closest to any of the releases I would wish to play.
It’s a shame they completely threw away the StarCraft IP because goddamn if blizzard couldn’t have done some LOL arcane style shit with that even if they never made another RTS. The for gamers by gamers sprit that drove them was replaced long ago.
