I'm not generally into SUVs nor do I need a 3rd row anything but I had a 24 Jeep Wagoneer as a rental and I thought it was pretty good. I liked the interior styling, it had the base 6 cyl which didn't feel like it was outmatched for the weight. Quiet enough on interstate. Navigation is kind of annoying in that it won't let you type on the screen unless you are stationary, not even the passenger.

It's huge though, hood is really high so you can't see the road in front if it's less than 30 feet away from you. Was okay in suburbia but I took it into downtown Miami including a parking garage with narrow, curved ramps and it was like carrying a couch up a stairwell, can't see shit.

You can step down to the Grand Cherokee, its essentially the same interior style and feel but smaller... to me the inside of wagoneer and GC feel the same, the wagoneer just seems to have puffyer things that take up the extra space leaving the occupant room about the same.

They have been doing a good job on the interiors of the GC and now the Wagoneer for quite a few generations, after the crap that was the 05's ish ones.

I’m a little disappointed with this reveal. I like it from the windshield forward, but not much else, especially the wheels. Digital interior and steering wheel is another miss. It’s universally disliked, similar to the newest GTi.

I think at $60,000 it would still be a reasonable value

Hmmm, I see what they've tried to do from an exterior design standpoint. In the front, it's very reminiscent of the old Daytona's. That panel between the headlights practically screams it. I'm not sure they've blended that bit very well with the wheel arch panels though. I kinda like it though, from a first impression.

The rear of the car from the 3/4 view is VERY 1960's 330 P4 race car... which is only one of the prettiest cars ever. Directly from the back it's not at all that and kind of weird looking IMO. That rear spoiler should be deleted immediately as it interrupts the clean lines of the design. Also compared to the previous 812, there's way less scoops and protrusions for 'aero' and other busy nonsense in the bodywork. Nice.

It also has a V12 which is automatic points, although I wish Ferrari would take a shot at a slower revving larger displacement one just to say they did, but that's a very small nit.

The digital interior control buttons is a bad idea, they should take the lesson of the GTI mk8 as Burren said. BAD, car makers, BAD!

Overall, I kind of like it.
I can't wait to borrow one from Foler Foler after he sells his Pasta and his PS4 for it.

Compare this Ferrari to the new Pagani piece of art:

Wow. There's so many classic airplane touches and details, the shape of the windscreen in profile, the gauge fonts, the vent shapes on the front wheel arches... amazing.
Foler Foler , if you let me borrow yours I'll give you a 'get out of shaw free' card. What do you say?

Love what Pagani is capable of doing and their cars are impressive. But, of all the ones they've made, I'd pick a manual Zonda.

That pagani is beautiful.

Brother now why would I need a get out of Shaw free card if I don’t have any plans of going back into the Shaw?.. 🤔🤔

Alright here are the vehicles I've scored so far. I've decided to expand the size category slightly and allow some coupes. I'm still heavily biased towards wanting a manual but might consider otherwise for the right car. Scores are out of 5. Feel free to argue scores. However, these are weighted towards the category of car not overall (hence utility being more luggage space and cabin room for road trips). Price I have just been looking up mean prices online for about the condition/mileage that are obtainable (theoretically cheaper is possible, as is much more expensive).

Looks : Subjective overall aesthetics
Fun: + convertible and manual - slushbox <> DCT
Utility: luggage and cabin space (can it handle going on a vacation)
Comfort: overall cabin comfort for driving (incl passenger)
Reliability: cross section of reliability, price for maintenance, quality, etc.
Performance: cross section of handling, ride quality, raw power, etc. (remember this list is more GT mission focused not track)

Any others I should add? Probably put M2, M3 and M4 on here.

Ferrari 12 has "haptic" buttons in the wheel.

Just make it a motherfucking button! It's cheaper and works better than a $2 vibrator motor strapped to the back of the steering wheel.

Fuck sakes.
