I'd say there was a much larger set of cultural changes between the 50's and 90's than 90's and today.

Also, turn down that awful racket *hits ceiling with broom*.
Agreed. That's like saying no bands today sound like Nirvana, compared to no bands in the 90s sounded like... The Big Bopper?

Although some of those 1950s artists were still pretty big in the 90s. Like Elvis, Johnny Cash...

Heavy leg day in the gym on Thursday. 32 hours latter, my legs don’t remember how to be legs. Tomorrow will be even worse.

Going through the same thing. It was my first good leg day in a long long time. Months. I did it saturday and my legs are just starting to stiffen up tonight. Tomorrow is going to be rough.

And then you have Keith Richards who was has been pretty big the entire damned time.

OK, not quite, the stones formed in 1962. But close enough.

I asked spotify to play classic country a couple weeks back. The first song was nine to five. OK, not really classic, but I like it so cool. Second song was Elvis singing suspicious minds. My mind got suspicious. Classic sure, but only about half country. Good song so I let it slide. Next song is some shiny thang song. I don't know which one because they all sound like the same song to me. Fuck spotify. How dare they call that bubblegum pop shit classic!

No motherfucker. Classic is 70's and earlier. Always has been, always will be. in 1962 the rolling stones knew they were making classic rock.

We're talking music here, not cars.

in today's $
$12.20 = $36.67
$0.75 = $2.25

don't think i been in a pizza hut since mid-80's. we had a small local pizza that was cheaper and had better pizzas.
the pizza hut in my town made it till year after covid. the owner added a shower to one of the bathrooms and was trying to sell it a open floor plan house for $250k with only 8 parking places, the lots to each side were being sold separately.

That BBQ pizza was really good and it was a staple of many of my family's trips to the US in the early 90s when Pizza Hut didn't really have much of a presence in Europe, we'd get one 2-3 times every vacation. Still remember the red frosted plastic cups too.

Haven't been inside a Pizza Hut since then, I gather it's all gone to shit.

There are still good ones, but it's very location-based.

Updated the package that I send to people I do contract work for or might work for. Just a list of experience, projects, what I do and such. I have a small number of references. Updating it for the first time in a few years and realised all my references are now dead. Mostly owners or general managers. So well above average age of workers as owners usually stay at least part time well past retirement.

I fell, no biggie when you are young but not cool now. Gashed the shit out of my left big toe and scraped my knee's/arm/leg. Body thought that wasn't enough and said FUCK YOU and legs immediately cramped up. Tomorrow will be the big reveal to 'your ass is old', when I cannot move. Heh , good thing I already have an Oxy script.
