Everyone always talk about Shannon but that entire band was tight as hell. Keith Richards talks about “guitar weaving” in the Stones, where the two guitar player weave around each other and you really can’t tell who’s playing lead and who’s playing rhythm. I’ve never heard that concept applied to Blind Melon but I cant think of band that is a better example of it than blind melon. I’ve never heard a band with two guitar players that play off each other as well as those two did.Blind Melon is a surprise, great album just never figured I would see it here.

Pink Floyd: The Wall (single greatest album ever made, bar none)

Always blows my mind when I see people rate The Wall so highly. That album has way too much Roger Waters for me. David Gilmour is the real star of that band and he took a massive backseat for that album.
