Last Monday went to my first meeing AI was officially the topic. Went with the owner of the company I have done a lot of work for. It was at Exxon and limitedd to companies that were part of the partner program. About 10 minutes in we were told it did not really apply to us so we left and got a...

https://people.com/john-anderson-dies-71-12187250 I thought he was older than that. A more popular hit. Speaking of Skerrit I saw a TV show from the early 70s he was in for an episode a while back. Cannon I think it was. He played a serial rapist that preyed on young college girl/hippy types.

Monday had a meeting with some reps of a number of refineries and chemical plants and some reps from companies that support them. 35 years ago I was the youngest at these meetings. Now I'm sill the youngest and that makes me feel old since all the reps from private industries are owners now my...

Is the character named Billy? Billy Cannon, heisman winner, dentist, felon for counterfitting, became long term dentist at Angola after release. Pardoned by Trump yerars after he died. Who needs soap operas when there is real life?

12+ inches of rain from the tropical storm that got here and just parked. It would likely take the gulf sea level rising for me to flood however. I'm on a hill at the highest point in the county and 60feet above the largest lake in Texas which is a few miles away. Also helps it is very sandy...

It's actually a ship.

The guy I mentioned that worked on the Alaskan pipeline as a welder then other things before moving into the office he wound up having back surgery and he blamed it on his pipeline work. Leaning over, crawling ontop of and under pipelines and stuff. No idea if that is true or not. In my...

Gonna try it, thanks.

A lot of people who can lay a bead down call themselves welders....A welder can make good money if and pretty much only if they can weld in all posistions, in several processes (Mig, stick, Tig, Submerged arc etc...) on multiple alloys (low carbon steel, stainless, aluminum, high nickle content...

Never seen it, there were some people in high school that saw it often and made an event of it. Wasn't for me just based on my local audience.

Saw a video with him in it a while back. Totally immobile and someone had to hold up stuff in front of him and then he would say something.
