Mark on Hit and Hextouch function differently. Hextouch needs to be attached to the skill that is applying the hex as well. Mark on hit doesn't, it directly supports the Mark skill, so it's entirely possible Mark on Hit will just work.

With multiple new rounds of servers that went up, the Western population kept a handful populated at all times. One of the original servers stayed up and populated the entire way through the game but there were always 4 or 5 you could play on.

Saying that Shadowbane cratered is a little re-writting of history. The game had a long lifespan and was successful enough to see 2 expansions made for it. It was more successful than 99% of MMOs made.

The leagues were the same way PoE was developed. A lot of things you see now in the core game date back to leagues from the betas. Stuff like strongboxes, exiles, a lot of the mods on mobs, half the bosses you fight in maps, shrines, onslaught, etc.

Probably at least 1 because there simply aren't replacement options out there. When you have the teams who need coaches looking at guys like DJ Smith, it really paints the picture. Their window is now. Waiting a few seasons for a new to the NHL coach to get their legs under them probably isn't...

That's about a 100% difference in contract value. Was a 5 mil contract, 2.5 in salary(a signing bonus included there but thats getting into the weeds) and maxed out bonuses.

Hoping for a guy who scored 49 points in 80 games to come back at league min + bonuses is some delusional thinking. That's the kind of thing that would lead to the league + PA getting involved.
