Caster in this is like caster in EQ, can just sit somewhere and have the rest of the group auto kill for you, check in every now and then to loot.

As long as they keep 99% of the fights soloable and only having some post last boss fight require grouping I will keep coming back for a few weeks every expansion.

So how much item xp does the AA thing give? Haven't logged on for a few days with Last Epoch season out, so haven't been able to check myself.

Yea, the mage pet is stupid tanky and BL pet with a holy hand keeps it healed majority of the time when it does take damage.

Made back the plat I spent on signets and now just only doing a Seru +4 on the bard petcuck and 3-4 Keras. Petcuck is so ridiculously strong with PoP gear it didn't even need to cast a single heal on my last 2 Serus.

Haven't done any AAing in a while but I see people in /ooc doing PoFire groups all the time so I assume it's not terrible. Another good choice is to flag to tactics and grind there, not sure about the AA rate but you can pick up armor fragment augs there that sell well or to use yourself.

Finally hit 3k io with my group of friends, ~6 hours a week spread over 2-3 days, none of us raided other than to pug heroic a few times and then first 2 mythic bosses once cross-realm opened up. Was a much more enjoyable experience for me not needing to add raiding into the schedule.
