There"s nothing inherently wrong with it, I think his point was that developers generally don"t go out of their way to create headaches for themselves. Things which are borderline exploits create problems for them, from encounter balancing to other players whining, hence the developers will go...

In a word, bullshit. I bought the game, plenty of the problems people have are completely valid. Performance issues, heavy handed nerfs, CTD"s, experience rollbacks, lack of content at higher levels, ridiculous travel times....all are valid complaints, many of which we told them about in Beta...

It really depended on the server cluster you were on (they have multiple realms sharing a single DB server, if I remember correctly). You could have been on a low pop server & still had shitty performance due to another server on your cluster. On the other hand there were clusters that never had...
