    DUSK

The endless whining about the graphics is hilarious. You can tone it down a bit. I'm on my second playthrough of this game, and it's actually a freaking blast. Great level design, solid mechanics, and the first game I've ever seen let you do a 360 vertical flip in first person.

    Final Fantasy XI

I've been thinking about playing this again and from what I've read it sounds like trusts (mercs) plus exp rings make it a joke to level up. Like weeks to max out. Asura apparently is the best populated server - lots of good info on the ffxi subreddit. It sounds like most of the story content...

    The D&D thread

Starting a pathfinder campaign in a couple weeks. My girlfriend is DMing for the first time since no one else wants to and I damn well don't have the time or energy for it right now. Building a cleric who is barred from healing due to some act of cowardice in his past. Mostly to troll my...

    Any Freemasons here?

Friend of mine is a keyholder for one of their temples, and took me and another friend through and showed us around after some drinks one night. Pretty sure he wasn't supposed to do that, but oh well. He showed us their "secret archive". It was a pile of dusty old ass books on top of a shelf in...

    Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV (2016)

So apparently this is a thing. Probably going to be garbage plot wise, fun visually. Going to go see it at my local Alamo Drafthouse Sunday. Part of the team that did Advent Children was also involved in this, so it should be pretty solid visually, which the trailer seems to show. I've...

    Everquest - Live Servers

Yeah but honestly, even just following a guide made for a quest line far, far more interesting than anything WoW or other newer mmos ever did. Just REACHING some of the places, even at a higher level, could be an adventure in itself in EQ, especially if you did it solo. And a lot of the epic...

    Skyrim

I'm going to play this in a week or two. Nehrim was real good, hopefully this is too. Does the english version let you use german voices?

    No Man's Sky

The more I read about this game the less I want to get it. I was waiting for the pc release Friday. Spoilers here, but if it's true I'm just going to spend my money on something else this weekend.

    Board Games

Arkham horror is great, one of my gf's favorite games she owns. It was impossibly hard when we thought portals moved when their symbols came up. RTFM guys.

    Everquest - Live Servers

Ugh, yeah, you're right. I was sitting here picturing everything in EK while I was typing it up and still managed to fumble the zone name.

    Everquest - Live Servers

I feel like that's another thing, sort of in the opposite way. Everyone had these wildly different experiences. Like I know every nook and cranny of certain dungeons, and yet others... I barely ever touched. And I can go back to on live and explore even now, in a game I invested almost a YEAR of...

    Board Games

My girlfriend got me Roll for the Galaxy for my birthday last week. Liking it a lot so far, good light strategy/worker placement/dice game that isn't too crazy long. I love my long heavier strategy games but this is a good game night game. I usually have to schedule special game days for the...
