    Being realistic, the funding looks to be enough to make a strong base of a game to be shown off to investors with the goal of obtaining additional funding for the larger project.

    PBG had some serious issues with the engine to where Simu had to fly their own Engineers down to assist with development. Unfortunately due to those issues PBG ran out of funding and had to close up shop.

    Stream the data to the client as its needed per session, makes it harder but prevents users from pulling the item/lore/text/whatever database. Local stuff like art dbs, would be smart to have nothing but indexes and what art sources they're using. I uhh, have experience extracting...

    Always do what Valve is doing, pick one popular distro (Unbuntu) and offer official support for it. If the user is running it on any other distro, support can't help officially.
