    Push mowers

I bought a toro recycler fwd 3 years ago and it’s been reliable. I sometimes collect the clippings for compost, but a lot of times I just leave them. The drive isn’t as powerful as I remember my dads being in the 90s, but it does help.

    Playstation 5

I looked at Denon, Onkyo and Yamaha models at the same price point and they all looked good, and had good reviews. I chose the Onkyo because it included Dirac basic with the unit(they offer to sell the sub module for 300ish). I’ve used it every time I add speakers, without the sub module, and...

    Playstation 5

I ended up going this route but I bought the Onkyo rz30. They go on sale regularly for $750. It did take some tweaking to get 120 passed through to the Xbox series x, but that’s about it. https://onkyo.com/receivers/av-receivers/tx-rz30 Going from a sound bar to real speakers is pretty nice...

    Highlander

That cover is amazing. I’ll probably buy one if I remember. This is one of those movies that, for whatever reason, I ended up watching a bunch of times as a kid.

    Playstation 5

I had no luck with the cheap 4k splitters. They seem to get too hot over time had fail. Startech makes good odd electronic gadgets and is my go to at work when I need something uncommon. It lasted me until I Upgraded to an onkyo receiver that passes 4k(amazing unit of you want home theater...

    Audiobooks

Audible has another sitewide sale going. Picked up red rising 4-6, as well has William Gibsons Mona Lisa Overdrive and Count Zero. I read Neuromancer last fall and enjoyed it. I really need to give up my plus membership for a few years to catch up on what I have, but I can never pass up the half...

    Audiobooks

I just finished 1-3. The narrator grew on me. How are the audio versions of 4-6 if you’ve listened to them? I hate multiple narrators since it messes with the flow of the story for me. I’ve yet to find a single narrator I can’t get used to after a few chapters. I started Hail Mary Monday and...

The Lord of the Rings: Shadow of the Past

Stephen Colbert is a high priest of woke. He’s spent the last 10 years praising anything from the left and shitting on anything from the right. I don’t believe he’s capable of being unbiased in anything he does. Also, by attaching his name to it they’ve removed the part of the audience that...

The Lord of the Rings: Shadow of the Past

This is going to be awful. You know they’re going to cast everyone’s favorite actress.

    Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader (CRPG)

Just finished a mostly dogmatic run, so it’s gonna be a long time before I get around to another play through. This did rekindle an interest in crpgs for me though. My backlog is massive.

    Ryan Coogler's The X-Files

Nu-Mulder looks at Nu-Scully and shows her a photograph. “Look at this face, he’s just as American as us. He’s just looking for a better life for his family. We must let them all in.”

    Xbox Megathread

This is just one aspect of the sickness that plagues Microsoft. For years, it seems like they’ve had no goal beyond selling subscriptions to azure/cloud. Now it seems like their main focus is getting ai slop into every product. They do these things to the detriment of their other divisions and...

    Ryan Coogler's The X-Files

I don’t see how this will have any broad appeal unless he breaks with all his previous work. He’s a black identitarian who works primarily with black actors to tell black identity stories.
