ES6 vibes. This won’t take 8+ years and counting to come out, but what is the point of announcing a game 3 years before target release? Everyone knows another Diablo would eventually be made. Just keep it quiet until you are 6 months to a year from release tops.

It’s less annoying than The last of Us 2 dialogue, if that means anything. Days Gone was fantastic. I enjoyed it immensely. Might be partly because the setting was my backyard, but it surprised me how much I liked it.

I’m enjoying the demo. What’s the point of the minimap color warning for imminent combat? Is there a way to increase the timer or something? Does walking vs running change the frequency of the flashing red? Feels like I’m getting pulled into combat every 15 seconds or so no matter what.

I wish it had some actual Star Wars music as well. It reminds me of rogue one movie or outlaws game where it sounds like Star Wars but doesn’t have any of the famous songs.

I’m not sure what to make of the timer either. I thought I’d hate it in Metaphor, and held off buying it until a deep sale, but it ended up being ok. I could do everything I wanted to still with many days left over to skip to required events on the calendar. In Dawnwalker it’s a bit different...

I’ve never played xcom, but would this be similar-ish to FF Tactics, BG3, or Divinity OS2? I loved those turn based strategy games and I love Star Wars so it seems perfect…?
