Wendy definitely has wi-fi - they said they added it for remote monitoring but that she isn't supposed to be able to use it when they are talking about how she is fucking with the monitors. The *alien* having wifi seems a bit of a stretch though, but hey it 'worked' in independence day right ? ;p
