Oh ya, that's a nice color. I have seen a couple of Trans Ams with that color pop up from time to time on autotrader/etc. I used to hate the yellow and black 2002 anniversary thing they did too, when I was younger, but now I actually like it.

Not sure what DSOM is and a quick google didn't help me, but probably not if it's a color, this one is silver. The k5s look very similar to the fortes so no real change there, but it's not a look that I dislike. Just don't like it as much as f-bodies looks wise.
