Where is that delete button?

Looking through my Hotmail inbox, I saw that a few ppl had tagged me in various posts in other threads on ReRolled.

This presents an odd situation for me. Other than a few rare peeks into other threads and maybe a posting a long time ago in the .gif thread, the hallowed halls of the Funny, Strange, and Random Picture Thread have been my sole interest on ReRolled.

Why? Mainly because ReRolled is associated with Multi-player Role-Playing games or whatever they are called. Since I do not play those games the other threads never really interested me, then when I did look at a few others that caught my attention I was pretty much mystified by what I saw there. Many threads seem filled with incomprehensible bickering about any variety of subjects, others discussed obscure nuances in some game I never heard of and don't care about.

But Funny, Strange, and/or Random pictures? I get that.

And there lies the appeal of the FSR for me. When I post pictures I usually make no comment on them. The photo is left to convey the message on its' own merits. With memes or cartoons it is a different scenario of course, but in the case of plain photographs (pictures) this can be an extremely galvanizing prospect. Plain photographs can elicit reactions spanning the gamut of human emotion, both good and bad.

The FSR is a blank canvas, a clean slate each time the browser is opened. As I said before, most of the photos I post are saved to my hard drive. I do not lazily hot-link pics, nor do I mass-harvest tripe from reddit (which I never read because I hate the format) or tumblr (because there are too many whitebread filler posts in with the good stuff.) Most of the pics I post come from other boards just like the FSR, on car enthusiast groups, porn sites, and many other similar internet photographic repositories. I usually try to make an attempt at some sort of theme or narrative, no matter how thin, not just dumping mass amounts of mundane photographs without any thought or connecting concept whatsoever. I try to make my posts....... interesting.

So.... if you want me to see any messages that you post, put them on the FSR and not some obscure 2-page rant somewhere deep in the bowels of ReRolled.org.

And remember: THE FSR IS USELESS WITHOUT PICTURES so post one each time you visit!
