Well we did "diffuse" the sword by containing its power with the artifacts so its not like they did nothing. The other point is do the various races actually have any ability/technology to remove a sword that a giant god thing punctured your planet with? What do you cut it with its basically a giant mountain made of god knows what metal.

The Kirin-tor could probably manage it in the same way they raised Dalaran. Have the cenarion circle heal the wound afterwards.

Wouldn't be surprised if they just don't bother with it and leave it there like a gaping goatse visual similar to how they couldn't be bothered to fix the vale in MoP

One option is once the planet is healed through the power of magic and captain planet it transforms the sword into a giant tree that elves can live in and turns silithus into a lush jungle.

This actually isn't that far fetched when you put it context of the night elves needing a new home. It wouldn't even really need to replace the sword as growing a new world tree around it could contain the corruption or some shit.

15 minutes later the internal heat from the sword makes the new tree burst into flames roasting another generation of night elves. Win-win.

Maybe the sword is just a dildo and its getting the planet off. We could be rubbing cum on our necklaces for all we know.

Magni is a pervert, after all.

I like how everyone knows what this is from.

That actually sounds cool as shit. Make the ugly ass Silithus into something.

I'm still waiting for the expac that doesn't create a new land mass out of no where, and utilizes the entire old world for new shit. They could literally cut down on asset development time by using what already exists. Give me more modern story in the original world. I don't need a new planet or alternate universe of another planet. They've already shown they can do this with how they wiped out Undercity, Darnassus, and minor update to Arathi Highlands. Warfronts for what shit they are, could be applied to Ironforge, Stormwind, or the dozens of other places. What about the original pillar of evil, Black Mountain?

You mean the world can change and alter in an MMO persistent game world. Nah that’s crazy talk.

They’ve got plenty of ammo regarding settings. They need to stop blowing their load for places like elemental planes and the maelstrom on forgettable zones and 5 mans (minus Firelands which was sweet). They could have an entire expac based around Aszhara and Nazjatar but they’ll probably just Gul’dan her and keep on with having players trounce Trolls and their shitty pantheon before giving Nzoth a surprise intro at 8.3.

I don’t mind them having a story even if it’s a shitty one, I just don’t need to wait 2 goddamn years while they slowly roll it out pretending like they can M Night Shamalamadingdong in some twists. Nobody tucking cares they are so slow smug and stupid I forget there is a story by the time they release it.

Perfect opportunity for Ragnaros v3.0

I'm calling it now, the next elemental fight is going to be a council fight with all four of them. Although I guess we've never fought Neptune and Tits Mcgee so who knows. Or did we fight Neptune I can't remember.

I think its a new firelord, though. Ragnaros was slain IN his realm, and I think after that the druids that show up mention a new lord will rise. I believe the same thing happens with the windlord because of Thunderfury, and you have to help establish a new air dude.

It would be interesting to see if there's some water connection since we're going to Naz'jatar.

We'll have a "Fiery Quintessence" for the Water Runes, this time. Hydraxian's will fall!

I was thinking the same thing. Something like fighting the elemental archfiends as a group in FF4 after having beat them separately.

Another option is to consider that Blizzard has incredible talent and needs better direction

Neptulon gives you his power to fight the big squid fucker in a dungeon in Cataclysm... looks like the naga stole his weapon. Neptulon

You also work with Tits Mcgee (Therazane). Al'akir, and Ragnaros are the only ones we've fought. Elemental Lord

Thunderaan was only a "Prince" elemental. Apparently there's a shaman quest to revive him to become the new windlord (Legion).
