I think its more about being able to stop and fucking with the types of people that drive those kind of cars.

In Maryland it's now illegal to have a lowered car basically. The hilarity was all the people driving in from out of state for a huge car show and they were stopping everyone and giving them tickets, I bet that car show will be moved to another state now.

I can understand if certain people don't agree with the style but where does it stop and do we really need to spend money and resources outlawing something so trivial? Where does it stop? You saw they pulled over a bone stock Ferrari, what about raised vehicles, are they under fire next? It's stupid fucking initiative to take.

I don't know the details of the Ferrari in question, but I expect there's always going to be a little bit of collateral damage. I'm sure a Ferrari owner can deal with it. Low riders and stanced wheels in pursuit of low riding are a danger. These are several tons of steel traveling at speed in public. We have safety standards for vehicles for a reason, and reducing the handling of your car and driving it on a public road is a menace to society.

If they want to fuck with hydraulics or w/e to be able to shift their car from road legal to maximum stanced coolness for a show, I'm good with that. They don't get to share the same asphalt as me with absurdly angled tires. I support the cops enforcing road safety laws.

Can someone explain this to me?

Preprocessor commands. The compiler takes "#define EQUALS =", where ever it says 'EQUALS', verbatim, in your code, it will replace it with a '=', and THEN compile your code. Generally, it's a handy tool for making code more readable, but that example is just being dumb.

A few weeks back I drove past a car parked near where I lived and saw the rear wheel sitting low and all kicked out at an angle "Oh shit another stanced car!" . . .

Oh wait I then took in the scene a bit more, nope it's crashed and that must be the axle snapped. Oh poor guy

But my first reaction was: stanced car.
