Yeah D3 feels like a character brawler game to me; fun to play for short bursts to get your monster killing fix in. Funny enough D3 might actually be a good fit on the Switch, kind of fits that on the go playstyle.

Hit 320 today on my Hunter and BM is competitive. Granted I"m basing this off Heroics but trash and boss dps seems solid, usually do top dps or roughly equal to everyone else.

Advanced job shrine bosses are recommended level 50. For early job setups I had Therion/Apocthecary, Olberic/Hunter, Primrose/Cleric and Cyrus/Merchant. Beat those four stories first, now working on the last four.

Yeah the stories being their own thing and not coming together in the end is a bit of a bummer. But a lot of traditional stories end up falling flat in the end, it's hard to get a great JRPG story these days. It's at 85 on Metacritic, can't be all that awful as I greatly enjoyed XC2 last year...
