Some of you may find this fun:
Space Engine - Home page
If, for example, you wanted to know what the Milky Way would look like from the viewpoint of a planet's surface in the Large Magellanic Cloud -- well, you can do it with Space Engine.
I have a co-worker bugging the shit out of me to watch Agents of Shield. I really don't feel like slogging through all of season 1 -- especially after reading some of the comments here and elsewhere.
Can anyone list the key episodes to watch in season 1 so I can just launch into 2?
Morena Baccarin looks so much better with longer hair.
Mediocre episode. Funny thing was that nurse looked vaguely familiar to me. Turns out I was recognizing her from Moonlighting.
This is a stray that showed up on our doorstep as a kitten. Definitely has some British short-hair in her. Wonderful cat although she has become quite fat. She'll bug the hell out of you until you give her food. "Tough love" is impossible.
Stopped watching this piece of shit two episodes into the new season. The first season was reasonably well-done, but I guess the writers had no idea where to go with it.
Why are we still taking about this film? AND in the wrong forum?
HOWEVER, the quote above reminded me of one of the curious decisions made for this movie. Was it ever explained why they had an actor in old-man make-up? Why could they not simply hire an older actor? It's as if they were...
Are there any good sites where one can get tips/suggestions for one's programming questions and quandaries?
I've used Stackoverflow, but I'd prefer a place whether they aren't so strict as to what one can ask.
Question: if a turned-in boss soul would yield a weapon that I would not use or is considered crap (i.g. Lost Sinner Sword), should I just consume it for the souls? Any reason to hang onto it?
I dunno, I'd almost say forget them both for now. I bought my PS4 on release day and have barely played the thing. I get WAY more usage out of my PS3 (games + mediaplayer). But this comes from a non-hardcore gamer. As in, I probably spend maybe 10 hours a week playing a game.
I feel both...
I assume you can't land on the planets or fly into their atmosphere, right?
I played the originalEliteon my Commodore 64. But my all time favorite space sim was Starglider II on my Amiga.
I play one game only until it's finished. I never switch to another because I know I'll rarely go back.
Since I typically only play on the weekends it means that one game can take a LONG time to finish. Case in point: I startedNi No Kuniin mid-March and finally completed it in late August.
Okay, so I picked this up for 15 bucks for my PS3. Getting ready to start playing it during my 2 week Christmas vacay.
Any recommendations on character builds purely for PvE? In Dark Souls I kinda just winged it, ran with a cleric-type build wielding a halberd and upgraded stats...
It does make me wish they would revive The Twilight Zone or Outer Limits. Not sure if these types of shows are expensive to produce since it would involve new sets every episode.
"Marathoned" (there's only 3 episodes per series) through this just recently. Majority of it was good to just interesting. "Fifteen Million Merits" was by far the best episode although I haven't seen the Christmas special yet.
Maybe he's there for diplomatic reasons? Remember, Lockhart asked Carrie if she had heard anything about back home. They were "shopping for his replacement" and that "something was up" or some such.
Can anyone recommend headphones that have a built-in microphone amplifier? This isn't for gaming but for work so don't need amazing audio quality. Colleagues are having trouble hearing me with the cheap piece of shit I'm using currently. Adjusting the Windows amplify properties seemingly has...
