Part of me likes the slow pace, part of me wonders if it's just like you said, to stretch out too little story over too much time. Wish the final scene would have had more to it, like a secret we didn't know get revealed, etc.
7/10, fun flick. Don't go in expecting a masterpiece story, but the nostalgia is there, great feel to some of the scenes. Enjoyed it and the stroll down memory lane.
Our FO has been a little better in recent years, Cousins situation (or non situation depending on how much he ever really wanted to stay) aside.
Cravens had plenty of his own issues though, wanting to retire while dealing with family issues, unsure if he wanted to come back.
Might just be the landing spot for him that he's been waiting for. I haven't read any comments from him but assuming playoffs goes relatively well (no 1st round knockout) you'd have to think he might sign there to be a part of the new core they'll have starting next year.
I wouldn't read into it as disrespect when coming from Kuznetsov. Honestly sometimes I think he doesn't even realize how talented he is. I legit think his ceiling is higher than Backstrom's overall. I'd give Backstrom a higher grade as an overall passer, some of the sauce he can put on his...
Well Stoic your young guys each had a point, one a goal. Wish we hadn't taken foot off the gas as much in the 2nd, but honestly Pavelec came on in relief and made a number of big saves to give you guys a glimmer of a chance at a comeback.
The main show and the White Water show with the Dakotas are over. They're doing another "Parker's Trail" thing where Parker and Rick go down to Guyana where Todd failed to mine in the jungle so bad b/c they want to check it out and try to mine a little bit down there.
Parker smashed his...
Yeah that sounds like one of those "legacy" hires etc. Dick move to push through and ignore directions from security personnel though. But I would be curious if there was a video to see how serious a "shove through" it really was though.
You guys were up 5-0 I saw at one point. Pretty normal with score effects that bad for the team behind 2+ or 3+ goals to start piling up the shot totals.
Yeah they did have those guys, I don't want to say completely fall in their laps, but others definitely passed. I just want to lock up home...
Parker was at least pretty up front when Rick told him thanking him for putting up with how he can be as long as he did. Just hope Rick actually does well on his own.
Yeah Redskins have been very quiet in free agency. All that's going on on the Skins blogs is wanting us to sign Hankins for the DL, some other offers to depth pass rushers, etc. That and mock drafts. Just let Vea or Derwin James fall to #13 and I'm all in.
If it's an actual bad hit, I'll listen. If it happens because 6'4 220 lbs is just too much for kids to handle, I'll enjoy all tears. You guys should totally just tank these games, I want home ice in the division.
Don't know if anyone watched the Parker's Trail stuff, but Rick told Parker he was going out on his own to mine next year. Parker took it pretty well, said he understood and all that.
Yeah as good as Florida's late run has been, it was only for a chance at the wild card.
Metro been nuts, Columbus running off 10 in a row to compete for home ice/division title.
some radio station posted this online, so many good ones left off that should be in there in my opinion...Bull Durahm, Slap Shot, Bad News Bears, Cinderella Man to name a few. Debate.
Dick move for sure. Weird to have a 66 year old on the Security team at the Super Bowl though, and can't find any actual mention of what the injury was.
Man reading up on it that it has been something he's been dealing with for years was pretty crazy. Not sure how he managed to have such a good year playing through that. Pretty sure the NHL never got to see Mike Green at his full powers save for a year or two with the Caps back in the day.
