I kind of phrased that badly, didn't mean for that to read as #1 overall, but a very high pick that they get someone who will help them next year, versus say trading down and getting 2 potential long term starters that may take longer to develop.
It's always going to be a discussion where Dallas fans are going to think they had way more of a realistic shot than they really did (running the table totally going to happen!) and the rest of us are going to think they had far less of a shot than they really did too.
Don't know about this...
Yeah I figured me not being 7 years old anymore was a bit of a help. Game was still fun, if a bit clunky. Normally I only boot up my old systems to play some of my favorite old RPG's.
Cassel finds the end zone. Romo's injury could turn it around for Dallas. I'd love it if Cassel ends up winning a couple of games down the stretch to fuck up their draft position (as long as they're not against the Skins).
Either Romo knows it's all over and he's smart enough to just sit it out and heal up fully for one more shot next year with a high draft pick...or we'll see him come back acting hurt while he racks up some yardage and a TD or two in garbage time to look all heroic.
Phil Simms pushing all that Cowboy momentum after that huge sack and great field position on their first drive of the 2nd half.
Still get outscored this quarter too.
Year or so ago I fired up my old NES with Mike Tyson's Punch Out. Shit is a lot easier than I remember. Super Macho Man and Tyson used to give me issues as a kid but I crushed it one sitting think I only got knocked down once.
