A couple of good groups and it should be fine. 1 tank is all you need with good CC. I box 24 so it's complete overkill for me.

The fishlord event drives me nuts - I farm it with my crew on Rizlona because it has good drops for slots that I'm still lacking after farming VT(caster ears, caster belts, etc) - but I really can't stand spamming the server with kill messages every 5 minutes.

Just worry about leveling - no one plays a rogue so Plane of Hate armor will be rotting in OW constantly and you should get a full set in a few hours.

On behalf of Rizlona I would like to thank Aradune for giving us the drama that we don't want on our server, but still so desperately want to read about during the monthly patch day.

I got all 24 of mine keyed in a combo of DZ+OW in about 6 hours. It was great.

Can someone give me the definitive word on this - Is the Carprin Cycle "key"(flag) needed for PoP progression, or is a guild able to take 72 into CoD, get 36 keys, and /corpse the other 36 into Bertoxx's room without messing up progression?

Lady Nev takes like 40 minutes in Velious and has a consistent AE. So it does do a tiny bit of help in terms of not having to pop out as much for heals.

If a game still has 50k subscribers split up into 2 servers, rather than 400k players being split into 16 servers then what's the real difference?

I don't think there will be a 15m+ subscriber MMO again, but I disagree that the era of the MMORPG is over. In fact, I think we'll see a lot more MMOs start to sprout up over the next 5 years, but they will be more niche games, with lower development costs, aimed a specific audience.

In terms of time I'd say they're comparable since you have to do both shards and Emp key, but I just wasn't willing to do VP keying due to the lack of quality loot.

I skipped VP keying, but I'm not excited about getting 18 VT keys for my guys on Rizlona.

I thought LDoN group instancing was really good because it basically saved "pick up groups" in EQ. Sure you could get PUGs during PoP but grouping was becoming much more gear-centric. The nice part about LDoN was that it allowed people who were in PoTime to group with someone in just bazaar...
