Mage or Wiz definitely feels good on your first loadout with no gear. Mage water pet will carry you pretty hard and the Wiz nuke you get at 18 is out of era so it hits like a truck Gotta recommend Enchanter though but they trivialize the entire game lol

Mote's just need to be redesigned already, their current system of preventing using anything higher than the current tier of the item just feels bad when all the motes dropping generally only scale off of difficulty levels. Make that shit drop in level ranges and remove the tier limit so people...

I think a big thing is once you have a class combo that can do D4 there’s really no reason to level any other classes or farm gear upgrades anymore. This is probably more of an issue with Enchanters being so much better than every other class its not even close that it's hard to want to drop...

I think they did in the beta but they don't on live. Just the damage and dot crit/crit damage so you're still healing for more just not double dipping.

i dont think theres any reason for it, too much of the loot is tied into quest turnins so the + gear doesnt matter. If they actually balanced the quest reward for the quality of the items you turn in it could be but as is, definitely not only reason would be you'll get higher motes more often...

No you need to put it in your exaltations part of the storage inventory, then there’s a drop down for your pet to select the illusion. I think it’s bugged so you need to pull the exaltation out of it and put both the item and the effect in separately

I cheese it with feign death, but i think you can just kill a small bee and jump off and it resets the split mobs apparently? invis to the back of the island and pulling the 2 will help a lot though, i'm 45 on my war/clr/ench so i'll just abuse the bee charm anyway doing that lol

you could probably do D4 already with that combo, charm is so comically broken in Hate/Sky, just make sure you upgrade allure a few levels. At the very least D2+

big recommend on doing enchanter as your 3rd, im doing this combo now (albeit i have planar gear) and its very fun doing D4 the entire time with aoe mez and charming rogue pets

lvl 10-20 in befallen D4 on an alt loadout, i think i got like 8 lvl 1 motes and a few 2s at lvl 50 so far lol Looks like they're doing maintenance though, maybe they'll adjust some shit with these

lol doing D4 on a war/ench/cleric is a lot of fun, just charming a rogue pet and tanking for it while actually having CC is awesome (with decent gear)
