I'm excited, but Panthers vs Cardinals? I think the only thing that will be interesting is to see how Carson Beck looks.

Bijan and Gibbs were both in the top 20 in receptions in addition to being elite at rushing. They are insanely good and underpaid even in their new contracts. Especially Bijan who commonly lines up out wide and runs real routes. They are only 3 year deals so the teams aren’t on the hook for their post-prime years, which is the most important part for these teams.

In fairness Belichick has been pretty consistent when it comes to not giving a shit about the players who got him rings.

Kyler officially starting for the Vikes. Holy hell if they just had drafted Nix, that team would be fine right now. Not even the biggest Nix guy, but he's more than capable of getting a good roster where they need to go, and Vikes have a great head coach, too.

Just a reminder, the 2025 Vikings went 9-8 (although the Packers rested everyone in the finale).

The NFC North is anyone's game.

Or they could have just kept Darnold and beefed up their offensive line. Everyone blamed their last two losses that season on Darnold, but that line was letting through pressure on just about every play.

McCarthy was clearly the wrong choice, but they still had an actual band-aid for that mistake and threw it away. They might have still been able to salvage a 2nd or 3rd round pick out of McCarthy since he looked decent in the preseason game he went down in.

I expect the Bears to regress big time. They won't have a last place schedule this year and, while they've tried to address it, will be going into the season down two pretty big contributors to their offensive line (one maybe coming back mid-season if lucky).

As much as it pains me to say it, I'm not sure the Lions are going to do very well this year either. Lots of questions on the offensive line (and extremely questionable depth) and the defense looks like it will be ass - the secondary looks grim. I don't have a lot of confidence that the DC, Sheppard, will be the guy to come up with some unique scheme to patch things up too. They're going to have to outscore everyone and I'm not sold on the new OC, Petzing - it's not like he had a lot to work with in Arizona, but he doesn't exactly have much to show for anything either. Hopefully their last place schedule will keep them in the mix.
