    Marvel Heroes 20xx

I do agree that they got the atmosphere and characters look and feel right. And the loot is done way better than D3. And they are adding things at a really decent pace. And they are adding playable heroes like one a month. Although I'm not interested in the next two, I'll prolly give Gambit a...

    Marvel Heroes 20xx

Heroes were buffed across the board, a lot. One is as good as any other I suppose. Just different flavors. I swear it feels like I'm exploiting or something. Or like when you take your max-level epic-geared character to run someone through a newbie dungeon and everything explodes if you look...

    Marvel Heroes 20xx

Yeah, that's one of the probs with the FTP model. Not selling enough xp boosters? Need to increase xp grind! Anyways, I don't get what's up with the devs in charge of game balance. I played in beta and found the game to be pretty dull. I mean, it looks nice, has interesting loot, good...

Exactly. There was zero drama in that scene once the bullets started flying, it just became retarded.

    Breaking Bad

Yeah, come on. Those of you trying to excuse that ridiculous gunfight should be ashamed. An assault rifle at 20ish yards is not a fucking uzi. Not only is it gonna be pretty fucking hard for 6-7 guys firing at you at that distance to miss, Hank and Gomez don't even dive for cover, they return...

Dredd 2 (2027 for Sure This Time!)

It just never gets old how some people always seem to want so damned much from a fuckingaction moviebased on acomic book. Damned movie was never intended to be some epic adventure that changed your fucking worldview. Dredd himself summed it up best:

    XCOM Enemy Unknown

I think the replay value is hindered more by the short and rather linear campaign coupled with the steep power curve. Once you hit midgame the battles become pretty faceroll. More maps will be great, but I wish they were a bit larger. I mostly play on Impossible difficulty now (after playing...

    XCOM Enemy Unknown

Like a year ago, before the game was released? That would have been a neat trick. I much prefer that they've spent the time since launch working on this expansion than just designing a few dozen more maps.

    XCOM Enemy Unknown

I've run into a similar problem occasionally on the Slingshot battleship. For me, it has to do with the fact that when you load the battle map the game loads the corpses and does their death animation again (this deja vu death can actually cause a soldier to panic, lolz) and that corpse is one...

    XCOM Enemy Unknown

I think (hope) that based on the good reception and reviews that we'll eventually get a sequel that expands on the gameplay more. They need to do two things though, 1. Fuck consoles. and 2. Let Jake Solomon do what he wants. I watched the vids of the 2 previous incarnations of EU and there were...

    The Bureau: XCOM Declassified

I always hate the mix of "hey, gotta have limited ammo cuz realism, yo" with enemies that take more than 1-2 bullets to kill. Consistency, how does it work? I think this game would have worked a lot better as pure tactical with no shooter. Give your (whole) squad commands and watch the action.

    The Bureau: XCOM Declassified

Lol. I agree with you. I had no idea how good it was before I played it. I was late to the game and only found out about it last month while looking for something turn-based while waiting for the new Shadowrun. As you mention, the genre has been pretty much dead for years now, so I hadn't been...

    The Bureau: XCOM Declassified

Yes, paid 37 bucks for it. Was totally worth it only because it came with a free copy of EU w/DLCs. And Spec Ops: The Line, though I haven't played much of that yet. Got 136 hours played of EU since I got my real copy, not to mention the several hundred hours I played the torrent. So definitely...

^^ This. Seriously. If Windows 7 is too "resource intensive" for you, then you need better fucking resources. Hell, the only reason I upgraded from XP to 7 was for more ram and directx.

    The Bureau: XCOM Declassified

I grabbed a torrent of EU last month while waiting for Shadowrun Returns to launch and ended up loving it, I'm on like my 13th playthrough. Was waiting on a sale to buy it, so this bundle was perfect. Normal is good to start with while you get a feel for the game, but yeah, once you do, it's...

So, this drops in a week and greenman gaming has a nice deal. Same as Steam, for 44.99 you get the game, plus X-com EU with DLC's and the 4 original X-com games, and Spec Ops: The Line. In addition, GMG gives you your choice of $8 cash back (takes a few days) or $12 credit...

    Shadowrun Returns

No one is saying that a Kneecap/shotgun nerf wasn't expected or needed, just that it's typical overkill, you know, how the term "nerf" got started in the first place. Especially when there are much more important things they could be working on, like the totally fucked up aim-RNG. 80% to 98%...

My knowledge of coding is minimal at best. Using a hex editor is basically just switching number values and calls to existing attributes? There's a bit of discussion in that thread about what you can do though.

Yeah, this is one of the things I've been thinking about for my campaign. You really have to take care to balance stat checks and combat difficulty with the pace of karma gained. Basically, if someone can't meet any of the stat requirements for an objective during a run, they will end up having...

    Shadowrun Returns

Guess the game is pretty decent for atabletgame, but I was hoping for more depth and a longer campaign. I'm at the cyber shop again. So, you drag and drop the ware you want onto your paperdoll, anywhere. The relevant slot(s) will light up, then you click the slot you want and the ware will appear there, then you click install. Not very intuitive, but whatevs.

Decker also. Considered creating my own class, but decided to save that for my second play-through. Game's pretty cool so far. Sucks that the campaign is so short though. And, as everyone and their fucking mother knows, checkpoint saves is fucking retarded.
