I absolutely loved Ember Isle, and working on my AA's. Only thing I remember about the 1st expansion is that the main storyline just.....stopped. I thought I was bugged and petitioned lol The puzzles were neat though.

I was sick of seeing so many dirty mages in the BGs, so I made an annoying warrior build that had 2 different pulls on what felt like a 10 second cooldown. I took a lot of damage but dealt pretty much 0, was more of a nuisance. Oh and I had a huge mana drain for some reason before they nerfed it.

They did do a 'classic' relaunch, Rift Prime. It was packed for a few days like WoW classic, but people quickly found out they had no clue what they were doing. I think there were 10v10 battlegrounds, and if one side had more than ONE healer, people just wouldn't die, it was hilarious...

I liked the underwater zone. Sounds like I was in the minority there though.

Thanks to the lowered expectations, this wasn't as hilariously bad as I was expecting. That said, the main character was absolutely insufferable for 90% of the first episode.
