actually it appears the drop rates are complete garbage, so i wouldn't bother farming them. drop rates get better and energy cost gets a little lower with later story events.

Well JP doesn't have Xon, just Locke and Zidane. The only source of Master Thief on JP is raven cloak. So I dunno if having multiple sources of Master Thief will produce a different result than Treasure Hunter.

yes they get harder as you go along, the first ones are piss easy. it's traditional to bring treasure find along, nobody is 100% certain that it's anything other than a placebo but it certainly doesn't hurt.

papalymo is pretty sweet if you aren't already drowning in TMs. *edit* the third FF14 raid lets you combine the TMs to get an upgraded version. Papalymo becomes 15/25 which is pretty goddamn amazing for a raid TM.

The correct way to say it would be to say that they removed the osmose exploit so that the difficulty of the trial is where it should be. That being said it's very possible that Gumi will once again be working off of old data which means the osmose exploit might still work.

Ilias is awful, Forren is awful but has the only helm TMR with offensive stats, and Camille's TMR is complete trash tier on GL since you can't stack materia. Amelia is an excellent arena unit due to innate DW and an AoE stop, and is a decent chainer.
