I swear there is a weird pug aversion to melee. Got my monk to 643 and like no normals would take me last night. I think I do better dps at that ilvl with him than I did on my Mage.

Yeah, I ice blocked the first I had, and used greater invisibility on the second(90% dmg reduction).

I would gladly help set up a heroic hm for Saturday, but I can't do it until the evening, at around 8est, and I don't know how many people would want to raid Saturday night. Not everyone is a boring parent like me who doesn't go out. The Friday catch up/alt raid will eventually go to heroic...

Sounds great. 630 is fine. The pugs have forgotten that not all that long ago, people started normal hm at around 630. Granted, if we have a bunch of 630s it will not be a cake walk, but as long as people are patient, have their pots/flasks, and pay attention, I see no reason we couldn't knock...

You're right. Didn't really think of it like that. And fml, I don't know what mage spec to stick with. In the logs, I do less dmg but am in a higher percentile as fire, but do more dmg at a considerably lower percentile as frost. So I guess I am a shitty frost mage, but the spec is just...
