Booze, you sound like you want to relive the glory days, as it was back in 99. If you'd like too, there's P99 you can play on. Nothing at all stopping you from doing exactly what you sound like you want.
Don't berate other people for wanting to play a similar, yet updated experience in 2020...
It's more than possible that the font in that window is hard coded. Like the stack sizes and buff durations, I haven't found something to change that yet. So I'm believing it's hard coded for the moment.
That answers the question. For some odd reason I've always thought of "classic" as the game plus Ruins of Kunark. So, yeah, I understand that for the 1-50 raid scene warriors aren't needed. I'm just assuming that most people want some gear on the warriors so they can tank the Kunark content.
I'm lead to believe the major difference between the tanking classes is Defensive. Without that, the other tanks don't do so well. I ended up MTing on Agnarr with a warrior. I could tank stuff that our SKs or Paladins just couldn't do, even if didn't use Defensive. Is there some other super...
I've uploaded the 1920x1080 VertBlue 2020 to eqinterface.
https://www.eqinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=6827
Let hope this works well for people.
Top right window has Click Through enabled. I've actually got no idea what that window is called, it's the window that game wide stuff like the Gnome Race shows up in.
However, what you're probably looking for in the Target window is:
<Style_ClientMovable>false</Style_ClientMovable>...
Think I'm done.
Moved the playerwindow a touch and added some space for the 3 decimals on the AAxp numbers so they fit better. All 200+ icons are now 48x48. Added a better/higher rez Spell Book icon. Increased the font size of the spell book and added some more room.
Shiiiit, song buffs are...
Short answer, no.
Long answer: There's a fade on the circle that I cannot get rid of at all using the .ini file, and the inside and outside of the circle cannot be changed either. The circle I made just shows you where those fades happen and the minimum distance from the inside and outside.
Update on the 1920x1080 UI project. Mostly done.
Added a drop shadow to the buff window text and updated the hotbar with the new dimensions. Still need to do a bunch more icons, and fuck around with the CursorAttachment window. Oh, and I need to sharpen up that custom targeting ring as well.
Finished the first icon set, one more to go. Completely fixed the buff window as well, it's no longer a complete arcane mess.
Now I've got to update these hotbars properly and finish up these other icons. Close now.
le sigh.. sure, I'll try it. It's not like I've been a professional graphic designer for the past 25 years or anything.

weebshit supersaiyan "ENHANCE" edition
Rework by me:
While the weebshitenhancer did a pretty good job, it is still just using bicubic scaling and some...
Think you've seen too many episodes of NCIS. Here's an example, using what I'm doing.
Original files 24x24:
Upscaled file to 48x48 using bicubic scalars.
High Res Icon 60x60 example:
Modified 48x48 example with 48x48upscale for comparison.
edit: bicubic, not bilinear, that looks...
Well, soon after I said "I can't make that icons bigger, fuck it, I'm done" I was so pissed off that the UI didn't have the functionality -- I bought a 1920x1080 240hz monitor to use for EQ. Then some time later you tried the SpellIconSize thing, and fuck me, it actually worked.
I can use a...
Just make sure you pick Agnostic for the Enchanter. When I first played the game I didn't know NPCs could see your religion, I thought it was just flavour. Many NPCs got stabby with me because I was a follower of Innoruuk even with Illusions and Benevolence.
.... and a brick fucking wall.
Spell Gems are hardcoded into the game. They are 24x24 and cannot be changed in any fashion I've found so far. I've got one more attempt at something, it's the longest of longshots.
Edit: Fuck it. I'm done. It's not possible. I'm actually pretty pissed off...
At a rough guess (I've been at this for three days).
<TileLayoutBox item="BW_Labels2">
<TopAnchorOffset>20</TopAnchorOffset>
<RightAnchorOffset>58</RightAnchorOffset>
<RelativePosition>true</RelativePosition>
<AutoStretch>true</AutoStretch>...
Ok, the hack worked. No errors on load. 15 spaces for buffs.
Hack is as follows, adapt it to your UI of choice. EQUIBuffWindow.xml. All your doing is hiding the boxes by changing the size to 0.
<StaticAnimation item = "BW_BuffBackground2">...
They are right. Commenting sections of the buff window resulted in crashes. Commenting part of it and deleting a section gives the following.
Working on another hack to remove them without giving the error. Sure, it works, but I'm not sure how stable it will be if it's giving errors.
This is why I'm rebuilding VertBlue for 2k monitors. While I shouldn't get too excited... I might have just cracked the spell icon problem. I'm working on the buff bars at the moment, and I've finally scaled the icon to the size I wanted. Sure, the rest is still fucked up, but it's progress. The...
Thanks, but I've already worked out all of that. The screenshot I've showed has the spellbar increased in size and I've reworked the border boxes at a new resolution so they look nice and crisp. The hotbars have just been scaled up inside the code and I'll look at reworking them if I need too...
work in progress, updating VertBlue for 1440p monitors. I cannot for the life of me work out where to change the actual spell icon in the bars yet. This might take all month to do, which isn't a bad thing I guess.
Dom, you got a link to where you go over your colon stuff? I'm just looking for more information about my colon stuff which is Ulcerative Colitis. I'm having a hell of a time with diet and weightloss right now.
