Finished routing and started painting the sign yesterday:

I started making the sign for the bar - the Kon Tiki Lounge. the CO2 tanks turned out looking pretty nice. I wanted SCUBA stickers so I tried printing them out on adhesive paper but that didn't work very well, wouldn't stick to the paint. I'll wind up buying some real stickers.

LOL you have to love Cowboy: “I’m not making any excuses,” Cerrone said. “The ref clearly thought I couldn’t continue. That’s the way this game is. Sometimes, you get the ref that lets you get pounded in. Sometimes, the one that won’t. I got the one that wouldn’t. So maybe it’s better for the...

There was a whole issue around the voice for Claptrap having pissed off Randy and being excommunicated from the team, etc. and then they supposedly had some shitty voice actor fill in and it pissed everybody off. I'm only a bit into the game here but it sounds like the normal old guy to me...

Used an angle grinder flapdisk to sand them down, got one primed and painted. Stapled up some grass matting and started putting in the bamboo:

It has the anti-slip stuff added, yeah you do want that. I started framing out the small window bar. I also want some scuba themed stuff so I asked my dive instructor how much some scuba tanks would cost, he said "oh about $600" so I checked Craigslist and found 3x CO2 tanks from a soft...

They had a nicely written, cohesive story for season 1, it had a beginning, middle, and it ended and it was set in a beautiful world against a great backdrop. They left threads open for another season but it will be all backdrop and no story, and is going to most likely be shit. I hope they...

exactly, this guy brought in a diamond grinder and spent half a day just prepping the floor, stuff that I would never have done myself.

He had a bunch of sample tiles from the company that manufactures the epoxy line that he uses. I looked through the samples and that one looked the best to me. They use a lot of those paint flecks, they have a video showing them with a sample install and they are throwing down buckets of...

I hired a company to come out and do a garage floor epoxy coating:

Todd Duffee wow that name is a blast from the past. Had some exciting finishes and then he disappeared forever, supposedly health related stuff.

I added the struts to the new passthrough window. Built the bartop that will project out through the window: And did a test run at making fake bamboo out of PVC pipe:

I posted a couple years back when I added on the garage extension, it had a lower level that opens to the backyard and we never had real plans for that. Wound up filling up with random worthless junk, it was a mess. I spent some time this summer cleaning it out with plans to eventually turn it...

Shaman and Priest are both miserable to play against right now. Kind of like playing against mech warrior last season except then you had until turn 7 hit before you felt miserable, now it is turn 1 when they drop the quests.

They tricked all of us into watching Downton Abbey.

I've been fasting lately but fuck 21 days. Three days is the most I have done and that sucked. I mostly do the 24 hour intermittent thing. My wife hates it when I tell her I'm having "soup" for dinner - IE: bowl of water with a chicken bouillon cube. It may be unhealthy, who knows, but it...

That was it, most I have ever seen him hurt.

Words matter in Middle Earth!

I'm in Joe Rogan's camp but I guess we are the only two people that think we saw Khabib get rocked by Michael Johnson's fists early in that fight. I would love to see Poirier win this, get another shot at McGregor and win that one too.

I think it would be pretty cool if they developed an expansion to build off of Classic. Maybe start simple, re-release TBC but add a couple new zones or something.

I got my engineering console, science console, weapons console all built and staffed. I got the quest for the farming (final?) console now. As I was flying around, I got the random event with the freighter under attack from pirates, killed the pirates, inherited the freighter, so now I have my...

You missed Speed Racer.

I have found three crashed ships so far and it has allowed me to claim all three. They were all full of busted modules. The first one, I fixed completely up and am using it. The second one, I fixed the engines, flew it to the closest space station and traded it in for the first clean ship I...

It looks like blurry shit but I still love it. Never played the game before last week. I'm sure it will get boring eventually but goddamn this is fun for now. I just found out yesterday you can summon your ship to you, holy shit does that save some time!?! I have been running for fucking...

The only PS4VR game I have played before this one was Skyrim. This was much blurrier than Skyrim, I looked up why and people are saying that Skyrim has a PS4 pro texture pack applied and this doesn't (yet?) and that must be why. It was first person, no over the shoulder view for me out of...

Over the shoulder sounds stupid. Skyrim was awesome because it was first person. Going to try this out tonight after work.

does bomb warrior hose the mage highlander deck?

It is known.

I have a PSVR that I used last year to play Skyrim. I just bought a used copy of this from Amazon for $20 with the plans to try out VR on the 14th. I'm a pc gamer not a console gamer though, I have a cockpit with a HOTAS system for pc space games. Does this game feel right playing it with a...

Worth a watch but FUCK that ending.

I feel the need. Glad they kept the music.

This was my favorite season so far. It was over the top but that was the point. I liked how all the Russians escaped but we have no idea how, probably a tunnel right through the earth. Two nitpicks - nobody in the 80's wore seatbelts, Nancy telling all the kids to buckle up never would have...

Only on episode 3, I was too old for robot toys by 1985, (I had just bought a Commodore 64 with big ass floppy disc drive,) but I"m pretty sure Transformers weren't out yet, it would have been Micronauts at that time. Was the main kids mom that hot in season 1 and 2? I do not remember that.

I thought Matthew Vaughn was working on a new Flash Gordon. Thor 3 basically WAS a new Flash Gordon.

Zombie always brings it, I dont see them cutting him with another loss. There also arent a ton of Korean UFC fighters and you know Dana loves to have people from outside the US and Brazil on the roster.

This doesn't even look like its worth pirating.

I didn't miss that spoiler but the show had plotholes. "The Mines" the homing beacon, etc.

I liked it when the angel is defending God's plan to flood the world and kill every man, woman and child except for Noah's family, and it is the demon who is trying to stop God from killing everybody. Good stuff. This felt like a book by Douglas Adams brought to life. The team that did this...

free DLC for 2 is out today, get it now as it is only free for a couple weeks. It takes place after 2 and ties into the story for 3.
