All I do is game. I don't even really like tv

Completely agree. It was someone's birthday and that's where they wanted to go. It sucked dick. Someone got sick and all they had was the salad.

Ain't nothing wrong with some blind guardian, rhapsody, stratovarius, or hammerfall

Boxed wine isn't bad. I find just want to have a nice drink and get hammered you can't really beat it.

Went to longhorn tonight, paid $20 for a steak cooked shitty, grey in color, no seasoning. Place has really gone downhill

The problem with hipsters is your burnt ends might have beard oil drippings in them with a touch of raw denim

Oh please, lol. I thought you didn't code anymore?

I would look for the people that have a passion for what you're working on rather than a passion for nerdy tech things. Sometimes they got hand-in-hand, but in general that's not always the case.

I've never seen burnt ends around here before, however we go to a seriously nice bbq pit type place in Milford, MA: Carnivores All American BBQ Also the Ghost Pepper didn't ruin the BBQ. It just made it hot as fuck.

I've just been listening to guitar shredding (Malmsteen, Rusty Cooley, etc) at work while coding. The frantic-ness of it really pushes me in a panic.

Damn tred you can never catch a break

I guess the sauce is made with scorpion peppers, the label just says "red peppers and chilis"

It's probably the HDD. Type Event Viewer in the Win 7 search bar (Might be same on 8/10) and go to System events. You would see errors around bad sectors or other things. I am thinking bad sectors. When he reformatted the OS and other drivers and shit might've been installed over bad sectors...

It was ok. I did laugh at a few things like when the bear just popped up behind kermit and said "everything working out ok?" or whatever. I think the show is trying too hard to skirt the line between subtlety with the adult jokes. If it's a show just for adults then let it free.

I'm not seeing anything in the ingredient list that makes me believe that title in the least

I'd do what tenks said and look at personal projects, special projects in school, etc., that apply to your field (robotics?). Also, the first step after that is to do phone interviews - gauge their interest, feel out their skills, see if they know what they're talking about.

Just pay the guy that does Nathan Drake a lot of money to do every game and fire everyone else.

Instead of rice and nut crackers today I did something manly. We went to a BBQ place for lunch so I ordered brisket, burnt ends, deep fried mac n cheese and cornbread and I put ghost pepper powder from a co-worker on my meats. I can't feel my face or lips and my chest burns like someone is...

Damn chaos, that shit scares me. What if my kid says something and my life gets turned upside down? Not to make this situation worse but many years ago my cousin told police that my aunt was making her watch her and her husband have sex and smoke weed with them. The police found weed and sex...

Xboners are only good for people that enjoy penises in their asses. Proven scientifically.

I bit the bullet and got the new velveeta chipotle mac n cheese, tasted pretty shitty. It was like they sprinkled in a little chipotle powder into the cheese sauce. In retrospect that's exactly what I should've known I was buying. I don't know why I thought differently.

It's obviously a lot more useful at lower levels. I wouldn't really expect senior devs to be going through this, much like I don't think interviewers should need to ask coding example questions in interviews of seniors.

If I was a fat man and I went to McDonalds everyday because I wasn't good at cooking and I enjoyed some double cheeseburgers, would it be considered exploitation? The men know what they're getting.

How do you even survive that?

Just read that today, I wish more companies did it.

It could be exploitation to some people I guess, but I don't see it. Even my socially awkward borderline autistic brother-in-law who let a woman dance for him for 30 minutes and was down a few hundred didn't feel exploited. I never feel creepy in these places, it's only creepy if you let it...

If you wouldn't accept a BJ from a stripper at 21 you might as well start giving them to other men yourself, Christian or not.

What I'm really asking is if I should be finishing on coworkers or not.

Should I be doing work right now or should I be jerking off in my cube? That's what it all comes down to right now.

We can be the 80 year old men in the office with mechanical keyboards, gaming mice, giant headsets, and those faggy gaming chairs that streamers use

My only experience prior to this was at two local clubs that had top shelf talent. I received a hefty lump sum so I actually went to the champagne room and nothing happened. If I knew about this place at the time I probably would've been banging strippers left and right. Hell, if I was single...

I would rock that cod controller if it didn't have a logo as well.

He's too close to retirement for that, he's. 59 or 60

You would think so. I decided to just sit in the lab for the rest of the day. Usually he bothers me a lot less because it's a 2 minute walk instead of 3 cubes down

In the last 30 minutes he's been to my office 3 times. FUCK!

We just had a huge meeting where a guy was presenting and the old guy went on a tirade for 45 minutes about shit that didn't matter. Now everyone knows..

Funny you mention that. For my son we've been playing this 10 hour loop when he gets cranky, puts him right out. Also it's an incredible song by Nobuo as well:

Getting a little irritated with the principal engineer that I've been "mentoring." I figured by this point he'd start to figure shit out but it almost feels like he's gained no knowledge whatsoever. It's not only affecting my work but also other engineers - he's just constantly asking for help...

New Black Dahlia dropped. Got to say, album is really good but it's a bit 'different' sounding to me. A little more technical, better guitar solos, better mix on the vocals:

The Last Story has me hooked. The animations are a little weird, and graphics are just ok (It's on the Wii) - but the story is great so far. Very reminiscent of Phantasy Star III in the beginning. My only real issue is the scenes are very chopped up - like, talk to this guy for a 1 minute...
