So birthday alone, thanksgiving alone, how are those watches working for you when you're trying to find companionship? This thread is quite sad, actually.

Yeah, that's pretty intense. Keep family relationships good. Buys some awesome books. Then take her for ice cream every chance you get. That's what she's going to remember.

Dude I respect you for your constantly keeping up with your niece, that's fantastic. It's really hard to know how to answer this, though. What are the parent rules about video stuff? If they're asking for books I'm guessing they're down on electronics. But there are amazing things for tablets...

So a couple things. Impressive season by Memphis. They're not really top 15 material, but they went 11-1 this season, and they just beat a ranked team. I hope they get a good bowl, but don't get obliterated in it. They should be proud of their season. It will be very hard for me, but I'm...

We refer to this thread as:

Well, someone has to keep shit going...

I have a friend who raises geese, so I get it really fresh and he never wants more than $20 for it, regardless of how big it is. This one was huge. The big thing about preparing a goose is to make sure you have a roaster with a wire rack, so the goose doesn't sit in its own grease while it...

So if we didn't make the list, are we still allowed to have a good day, too?

We are at a cottage, hanging out, so I didn't have my own well equipped kitchen while cooking Thanksgiving dinner, but I still managed a pretty decent meal. This year I did goose, and every time I do I wonder why anyone ever does turkey. It's the worst bird you can do. Goose, duck, or chicken is...

Whelp, things have taken an interesting turn.

That's fantastic. Shitting on others from on high has never been a pass time of mine, but I could give it a try.

I have 23K. Does that make me awesome?

Bloody pear? That's just obvious, and I've never thought of it. I'm going to next time, though, thanks! I do a similar recipe with half the sugar (sorry, me and the fam don't like super sweet foods), and I add some Macintosh apple and I use orange juice instead of cider. Bet yours is better...

I was away for a day and a half. I just caught up on this thread. I don't know if I'm a little turned on or horrified.

Exactly. In the process of doing the kitchen remodel there was a week where we didn't have an oven, but we still had a cook top. There was only about an hour without a sink. It takes a while like that, but it's always functional.

I bought a total fixer upper, and I haven't used any contractors. I do all the work myself. I've been in the house 10 years and I'm not done, but I'm getting close. Part of the kitchen and 2 bathrooms to finish inside. I've also built a few out buildings and done a lot on the property. You have...

I just caught up on this thread. Hodj hodjing hard in the hodj thread. It's a thing of beauty.

Catalina is seriously rustling me. No way to make Audacity have access to the mic/input except with a work around running in terminal. Virtually impossible to allow network access to other computers on the same network. Have to rebuy a bunch of software that no longer works. I fucking hate Apple.

Silky smooth, right?

Can Foler be restricted to his thread?

Just watched the first three episodes. Really pretty good. I enjoyed it thoroughly. And it did feel like the original films. I hope for a good, full season.
