Haven't been able to play in the last few days. Anything interesting go down?

Some guy at my local FNM was playing a Black Lotus. It was a just a group of 30 + year olds playing vintage for some reason. They acted like they were big shit. lol Pretty sure I saw some pieces of power as well.

How much did you set this back?

How long will these decks be good for in Standard? Would be kind of lame to buy one and it's cards get taken out of the block making the whole thing useless.

So, went to FNM with a friend for shits and giggles. Was watching him play when I saw the guys next to them playing some fun rounds in Vintage. One guy actually had a beta or alpha black lotus in his hand (black border). Not sure which, but it was pretty cool to see such a rare and famous card...

Wii U is an imaginary system confirmed.

Yeah, that seems to be the biggest fuck up so far with this game. Doesn't really seem like something that can be fixed. Then again, I don't even know if it's a huge issue right now.

Jesus Christ, I hope they're working on this shit. It's like I finally find an MMO I like and it's getting ass raped by hackers.

Whelp, hopefully they find a way to crack down on it before it has a hugely bad effect on the game.

The question is why would they have that client side? How did they not see hacking coming? And the biggest question is will they be able to fix or change it?

Its probably because the Koreans are the ones that need to figure out how to stop it. It's probably of one of the draw backs to just being the guy that brings a game to the states.

Nah, after a certain amount of time your alt will be kicked because you're AFK. But if free accounts got lp, then bots could just hoard it and rape the economy. I think that's why they want paying players to be the only ones to really get LP.

Yeah, this is a good point. Perhaps give them labor through actual questing then? I dunno, it's seems like a rock and a hard place kind of situation.

True, but if you just want to be a pirate type and cause a ruckus it seems like you can pretty easily. At least as far as I know, anyway. I do think they should let free players get lp while logged off, even if it's just half of what paying people get.

I think one thing that will keep it going is that it's reasonably free to play if you don't intend to do crafting and what not. So there should always be a fresh batch of people coming in when others quit.

So far this game gets my thumbs up. It's like a really good mix of theme park and sandbox. So while you're doing theme park stuff, it's still interesting because you see people doing sandbox stuff.

Jumped on a different server just to watch the mayhem of Good Swarm being themselves. The trials are hilarious.

Just wondering. Do they allow character transfers? Or will they ever? I know it'd be more complicated due to land and what not.

Any guilds willing to take in a lowbie still trying to find his way about? Leveling in this game is faster than most it feels. Was level 10 in like, no time at all.

Yeah, blocking them has no effect. They should really get on that immediately lol.

So I'm still trying to decide if I want to pay the monthly fee. So far it's a no, simply because the gold spamming is insane in this game. I've never seen it this bad before, Jesus Christ.

Got my hat, took 30 minutes or so. Lots of cool environments in this game.

Is the quest for the hat long? Might log in and do it later if it's not.

Yeah, this is pretty much what I'm talking about. Which is kind of disheartening.

So I just started. Am on the Kyrios server if anyone wants to fuck about. I've heard a lot of good stuff, but the p2w stuff is still a turn off.

That was my only real issue as well. I don't understand why the tablet and PC versions use the same UI. I'm sure there's a way to do a PC UI and a tablet one.

I'll probably jump in when they hit beta phase. I wonder if they're going to add raid mobs and stuff. Would be interesting to watch a raid mob fuck up your player made village. Could really change raids from being "go here, do pattern, kill raid mob, get loot" into "OH SHIT ITS A RAID MOB OH...

I'm pretty sure they will. In one of the videos I've seen on steam there seem to be a map system. Don't see why fast travel wouldn't be implemented.

This is good to hear. I was in earlier versions of the game and it was polished then. I do wish I was still in, but I don't like dropping money on early access.

I'd play but the game won't even let me in. Still says I don't have the right entitlements to play the game. If it's a free to play game, why the fuck do I need entitlements? :|

Every time I try to launch the game it tells me that I don't have the right entitlements to play. Thought this was free or whatever?

So how big is the rage over this P2W shit? Is there a chance they might revert it so it's worth playing? I mean, I was willing to pay the monthly fee if I still had the chance to get to the top. But I'm not dropping loads of money on a game.

Mind explaining this? Is there just going to be a group of rich dudes ruining everyone's fun? Because that would fucking suck. Hundreds of thousands of dollars? What the fuck?

How hard is it to get max as just a normal subscriber, or non-subscriber? I'm still trying to figure out if this shit is pay 2 win or not.

I'll give it a shot this Friday when characters become permanent.

Yeah, you don't really want to encourage people to be dicks. That will come out naturally in a MMO.

I think they're relying on human nature. There's always a group of guys in every MMO that just want to be dicks. Usually the Russians.

Just started playing again today. Been using the base decks, trying to get them to level up. Cannot beat Malfurion, so I can't unlock him to play Adventure Mode. Any tips for a guy who barely has anything above level 10?

So when will characters be permanent?
