Made a big salad tonight, but kids were going to be grumpy about the no meat thing, so breaded and fried some boneless, skin-on thighs and made them spicy and crispy. Cooled, cut into strips, and put on top of a salad with a home made, thick dressing. Salad for dinner (with a cheat), happy kids.

My basement room was really cold, so I took down the poorly installed walls in there, put 2 inch foam-board insulation, and added a 2x4 wall which I filled with cellulose insulation. It's really, really warm down there, now. It's awesome.

It's not rocket science to install yourself, and save huge money.
