He will not be a Commander. It's hilarious how people are pushing this narrative.

Titans owe Tannehill pretty big cap hit. Commanders is just smoke rumors from certain people, zero substance to it.

There will only be one more set of crafted battle gear. But yes, maxing this current set of crafting gear will have you all set pretty much until level 99/100 white set at 8.0 level cap. Agree with Cyb there will likely be more relic steps. Even if we feel further along on this one in just...

I was merely poking fun at what seemed like you meant, don't be so on the defensive yourself just because everyone else pretty much was on the same side I was, to keep the two essentially completely separate. There's disadvantages to linking everything together, as it does make some players...

As anyone with eyes could have read my previous comment that noted I hadn't touched the game since 9.0. But honestly could care less about pvp. It shouldn't need pve'ers to be forced to participate in it just to keep it afloat.

Cap dumps will do that, plus he isn't far and away the best corner in the league anymore like he was (or arguably with 2-3 other guys) back then.

Why would pvp die? I thought it always had its own dedicated group. Although with the current downturn of the entire game maybe the pvp population is at such a low level it couldn't handle that.

Are you sure? X.3 is usually the final crafted set for crafting/gathering. They'll add in purple scrip set for people to get to decent ilevel/stats for it, but pretty sure this current crafted set is the top end we will get this expansion.

Frankly I think PVP should be isolated from PVE. Maybe a potential path to basic gearing, like something between Normal/Heroic, but nothing close to actual pve stuff like raids or M+. Obviously pvp should let you get gear that helps you pvp better, though.

Maybe worth checking out, probably wait to see how others test out alpha and hear feedback from there.

And yet, aren't there M+ versions that are comparable/better and easier to get just rolling keys? I haven't played a second since 9.0, but always felt like a lot of the gearing was easier/better just chasing +gooder on the exact same item drops out of M+ every season.

On the crafting/gathering relics, is there going to be a lot more steps planned? 2nd level upgrade pretty much puts it on par with crafted HQ stats, minus materia stats. Plus you get that interesting 1.75 times quality increase on Good conditions. I feel like the Ishgard relics had MANY more...

As long as you guys can just drop 2 points to us Tuesday night, please and thank you.

Feeling pretty good about this Sandin trade so far. 8 points in 4 games? Second 3 assist game tonight. Little sloppy defensively but you'd expect that coming to a new team.

Swapping from #1 to #9, also getting pick #61 (late 2nd), Panthers 1st next year, and Panthers 2nd in 2025...plus DJ Moore to Bears.

Three 3rds is kind of ridiculous, too. Makes the CMC trade that much easier for them. From only 4 picks in the upcoming draft to 11 just that quick.

49ers lead way with seven compensatory picks Damn wtf Niners.

I don't know, if he's already turned down $250M+ total over 5 years, with $133M guaranteed at signing, is it really worth it to go more than that AND give up two 1sts? I don't think teams are lying about not being interested unless he brings his asking price down.

You make a compelling point. Ryan would have then lost whatever lead he gained, though.

Well it does in the sense that he's currently tagged by an AFC team. Some other options that have been presented as potential landing spots would be Miami (assuming weird Tua health news or as part of trade to send him back to Baltimore with pick/s) and Houston.

Where would he even rank right now given his last 2 seasons? Even within his own conference? Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, Herbert, Lawrence all easily above him in my mind.

God damn DS9 still top tier. I get lost down DS9 Youtube rabbit holes too often these days.

Hoping they don't fuck this up, cast looks amazing as others have noted.

I pretty much 99% agree with all of this, I just have that 1% that thinks the idea of owners getting together to be like "yeah we need to nip this guaranteed thing in the bud, let Watson's be an outlier" isn't far-fetched at all. Small wonder all the current players are like "pay the man!" b/c...

Hildabrand stuff still cracks me up.

All the "collusion" talk on Lamar is interesting. On one hand...I could absolutely believe the owners banding together to avoid any sort of 100% guaranteed money precedent getting set on a wider scale. On the other hand, it's laughable to suggest that certain teams should definitely be handing...

Would not have expected us to hang 8 after that first period. Nice to see some young guys get some minutes on the back end.

Yeah but given we sold off so many others (Orlov, Hathaway, Joahnnson, Eller), seems weird to hang on to guys like Sheary/Smith. I know there's talk we might extend van Riemsdyk, so not moving him might make a little sense.

Pretty surprised we didn't try to flip Craig Smith for a mid/low pick, or try and move Conor Sheary. Either would have been an okay potential depth piece for someone I would have thought.

Reminds me of our last game v the Ducks. Something like 65% expected goals for but lost. Thankfully noted goal scorer Tom Wilson potted 2 last night to prevent the same thing happening less than a week later.

That feeling when you watch that teaser then see "Mobile MMO".

Adding a guy with 5 mil cap hit for 2 more years doesn't seem like great retooling of bottom 6.

Anybody know what Hextall is doing?

Ottawa going big. Although frankly if the asking price was only that, I wouldn't have been unhappy had we given up that much.

So much action around the league

Don't think Wilson should really get shit for the pick. We've all seen that crazy still shot of when he's just about to throw the ball. Just looking at that pic you'd think 80% TD, 20% incomplete if DB makes a good play.

Pretty pleased our GM recognized where we were both this season and going into next with all the moves he's made. Only had Carlson signed beyond this year on our blueline, managed to get good assets back from moving Orlov, turns it into Sandin, signs Jensen to only a 3 year extension (good)...

Reminds me of Caps' one President Trophy year where Pitt had 2nd most points, and Columbus had the 4th most points in the league.

I love this move for Sandin. 22, $1.4M cap hit next year than RFA. This feels like Orlov's replacement but a decade younger.

Wasn't sure how we'd come out with the Orlov trade still fresh, but I guess you lose 6 in a row, it's plenty of motivation to go out and get a W eventually.
