Flacco didn't really turn into Montana. He had some good fortune along the way, and played really well against the Patriots in the AFC championship game (mainly 2nd half) and looked very good in the 1st half of the Super Bowl. A lot of good fortune against Denver, couple dropped picks in the...

Heh, think Redskins and Packers are in same boat maybe for 13 and 14?

Ravens somehow blow that game. Unreal cool for the Bills, but feel bad for Ravens fans.

Solid win tonight. 10 of next 15 are against the Metro, time to really see where we're at.

I like that someone else is old enough to use this reference.

Was thinking about this the other day since this might be Cousins' last game as a Redskin. Potential landing spot? Minnesota. Not sure if the CBA means Bridgewater is under contract or not for next year, but they're supposed to have about $60 mil in cap space and a very good team just...

Holtby must love nothing better than seeing Boston on the schedule.

Ravens aren't in yet. If they lose to Cincy, with Tennessee beating Jacksonville and Buffalo beating Miami...Titans get the 5 seed and go to Kansas City, while Buffalo would end the longest playoff layoff (since '99) and get the 6 seed to go play @Jacksonville. Chargers lose in any 3+ way tie...

Sweet Chin Music...."drop kicks". Almost.

Every team did. Weird game. No idea why Kuznetsov didn't go out there after Oshie in the shootout like he normally does. Oh well, Carlson blew it by not finishing that wraparound, best chance of the OT/game.

I'm guessing he didn't want to wait as long as Brady still wants to play.

Dak goes full Romo

Was messing with the playoff simulator and there is some weird shit that goes down depending on if multiple teams end up 9-7 and who wins tiebreakers. Funniest one I saw was that if Tennessee loses out (Rams, Jags) to finish 8-8, Buffalo loses to the Pats, Ravens lose finale to Cincy, and San...

Yeah was going to say that one I thought was ruled correctly.

Not to hate on this, but TOR in general has been pretty garbage since initial release once you were done with the class stories. I'll admit some of the Fallen Empire expansions was well done, but once they got to the middle/payoff time, writing went to shit again and they didn't have good way...

@Blitz That NFC looking strong. Eagles 12 wins, Vikings 11. 3 other 10 win teams, Falcons at 9-5. 3 teams at 8-6 trying to win out to get to 10 wins. Honestly if all the NFC South teams weren't playing each other (9-5 Falcons have 10-4 Saints and 10-4 Carolina left), I'd bet we'd get 3 teams...

Friend of mine saw this today. His review "The only thing I could think of, was Owen Wilson commenting on the major plot point for over half the movie, in the same voice when he asked Chaz about crashing a funeral: 'So they were chasing the space ship that was running out of gas?'"

Jimmy G confirmed insane.

That was the story of this game. Been so good at protecting the football last couple weeks and hand it over back to back when it matters most.

Slightly different scenario. You know, after Yoda and Obi-wan go check out the temple and see the younglings killed by lightsaber. Then Obi-wan just has to check the security cam footage even after Yoda warns him about what he'll see. They literally see him slaughtering the younglings...

It's not prequels bad Mist. We were just misled/teased at larger answers coming in this one, and this one being the best SW movie up there with Empire. Plenty of good parts, but it didn't live up to all that...and many questions TFA might have brought up for you will not be answered in TLJ.

Synj, the point isn't to get too ridiculous and random with stuff you remember. OT had stuff you actually remembered on first viewing.

I think it's pretty much over. Only drama left is whether someone manages to beat City.

Agree 100% with this. Many of the "moments" were very good, too. Just felt like they didn't know or didn't take the time to write good ways from getting moment to moment. Read one review online that said this is a bad movie wrapped around a good movie. I think that's why so many people are...

I think everyone agrees Mark Hamill played the role that was written for him as well as it could be done.

Most people panning it have noted there are good parts in it. Some of the themes are handled well. The overdone humor throughout and plot holes a mile wide leave a sour taste too.

R2 and 3PO are pretty much the humor. Han's character is pretty much built on that, but he's not in this movie. Eyeball monster was still an actual mortal threat, weird as it was.

You need to watch the originals again. The goofy humor wasn't nearly as prevalent as it was in TLJ. No one was "trolling" Tarkin over the comm to undermine his character from the jump. Original didn't showcase anywhere near 50 planets. A New Hope had Tatooine and Yavin 4. Can count the...

There's definitely still some high points, and definitely Star Wars in it to enjoy. A lot of it just feels like they had a list of "moments" they wanted in the film, along with certain tones they wanted for each character (old and new)...and they just didn't take the time to come up with very...
