Can't believe they had two DOG penalties in a row.

The only things we really learned in S2 was that 99% of Vince Vaughn's dialogue was terrible, with 1% being golden. Colin Farrel was the only reason to actually watch. And Astro can have a hard time at understanding obvious plot points.

NHL already had a pretty good ratings series with Caps/Pens. I think worst case for them would be Nasville/Ottawa at this point.

I think Ducks getting over that Game 7 hump is big for them, but I just don't know. Nashville is solid as hell when they're getting that production from their top line, along with their D (seriously their D has put up some points in the playoffs). If Rinne continues his play I think Preds win...

Thing is, he sort of has that moment where he lets Brienne go and waves to her. He just explains that he will do whatever is necessary to protect those he loves. That's where the crux will be, when he gets back to King's Landing, and Cersei has killed/let die everyone...does he see what she...

Kuznetsov and Orlov to Worlds for Russia...no Ovechkin though, lower body injury. Said he didn't want to let the team down, was said he was playing on pain-killer injections in playoffs. I'm assuming the Kadri hit.

Not sure we'll get as far. That roster is going to look a lot different. Can pretty much say bon voyage to at least Williams, Alzner, Shattenkirk, Winnik...potentially Oshie too. Likely Grubauer in the expansion draft, too.

Congrats Grimm. You guys deserved it tonight.

I don't want to see that Oshie missed empty net chance in my nightmares.

So, 2 breakaways, and neither guy gets a shot on goal. Not helpful.

I want this to happen so much...but I wonder if we'll get it. Jaime is one of the characters who you really have no idea how his story will end. Part of me thinks Brienne eventually has to kill him, part of me thinks he ends up with her.

Not today.

The "strong female thing" is undermined a little bit by the circumstances for each one though. Dany still needs Tyrion and Varys as advisors (with Barristan before that, not to mention 3 fucking dragons), and still has a soft spot for Ser Friendzone. Cersei needs Undead Mountain to enforce her...

Well...if the Caps and Ducks manage to win tonight, I will have nailed 3 series in 2nd round perfectly even down to the # of games. Got Sens/Rags right in that it was 6 games, but wrong team.

So fucking good

There was confirmed plowing.

The fucking Sens are in the ECF.

Bishop could still be good. A 4th isn't much to give up to have negotiating rights before free agency starts.

By this logic, Lebron had already gotten there with Cleveland pre Miami.

Personally, I wouldn't if one of our stars was a home town kid that was drafted by the team and basically saved the franchise (DC fan here, though as I noted I don't follow NBA as much) left and tried to come back. But it's easy to play the "well you would do it to" card to people who aren't in...

It doesn't come close to leaving your hometown team that lucked out to draft you #1 and bring them back to relevance. Despite Gaige claiming they were getting tossed early in the playoffs they made the Finals and got swept, then lost a tight 7 game series to the Celtics, after which they...

He would if it had been as big a dick move as Lebron. KD didn't leave his HOMETOWN team, on which he had the best record in the league two years in a row before ditching them.

I want one

More shifts for Ovechkin would work when we have 2 quality centers now. Maybe it's just Eller that kills me. Dude will cycle the puck and hold onto it forever and ignore his teammates far too often while he just tries to stick-handle through the entire D himself. Was probably why Burakovsky...

The trolling was going so well, until the typical trying too hard post was made.

Fuck Pittsburgh. Caps just need to play like the first 55 minutes of that game again. Still tired of Ovechkin on 3rd line. Eller does great on the boards and cycling the puck, but he doesn't enter the zone with control enough. About all we got out of it (although it seemed to wear guys down)...

This dude in background at Capitals/Penguins Game 6. He was at Game 5 as well.

Not all heroes wear capes...

If Wizards could win on the road they might actually scare someone.

Carlson didn't look like that was going to be a good result for him at first. Then honestly the scariest play was Hornqvist's face coming that close to Niskanen's skate blade. Eyes, neck...all kinds of worry there. I saw blood on the towel they were holding to him, hopefully just on his cheek...

We'll always have the jail scene with them and Bronn though.

Hype

I mean, Astro still posts. If that's sliding than anything else is just meh.

"He's a cautionary tale". Jian Yang mocking Erlich at the dinner was fucking great too.

This is a decent point...but 5 of those teams (Lakers, Celtics, Heat, Spurs, Cavs) were either semi dynasties or teams specifically built with key free agents grouping together to win a title. Only the Mavs and the Warriors won in the normal organic way, and the Warriors with Durant have turned...

This Edmonton game. Holy shit. The passing on the hatty and 7th goal was just amazing. NBC savage as fuck too after the 5-0 1st replaying interview with Ducks pregame talking about how they need to get off to a good start.

Fear of SJW bullshit and the overreaction that follows is starting to get as bad/worse than SJW bullshit around here.

Went to the game tonight. Almost seemed sleepy through 40 minutes, 18-10 in shots, just not much going on at all. Literally only 9 shots combined in the 2nd period. Then the 3rd happened. The Ovechkin on the 3rd line experiment can go away though, Eller doesn't do as good a job carrying the...

UNREAL. Just an epic comeback and game. Young Oilers learning their lessons. Just sick. Anaheim deserved it completely in 2OT too. All over them.

2nd OT coming up.
