4pm! Now I actually have to work while telecommuting just to stave off boredom...

You have to accept a request from someone before they can bnet chat with you. I guess you could get invite spam but I don't know if it's really worth it from the spammers end

I have quite a few friends on Hyjal actually. I'm in a decent guild at the moment and as far as I can tell I will still be raiding with them come WoD but I may put a toon on Hyjal as well. Schedule will be the most determining factor since I don't get home from work until 8pm CST most nights (I...

Now you are just confusing me... Did you, or did you not tell me that "in your experience" you can get titan runestones from the same boss by changing difficulties?

Exactly and that's why I said as far as I can tell switching difficulty does NOT get you additional titan runestones like it does with secrets. I can confirm he did not get a runestone, I was there on the raid so I'm not just taking his word. This was last week though I thought maybe you got...

It was kind of a rhetorical question, I'm not saying tier 1 raiders didn't move on to other tier 1 guilds but the whole point of lower tiered guilds being cautious of recruiting ex-FoH (or insert other uber guild) was that if they were trying to join said lower tier guild it was because they had...

Why wouldn't they? I mean if they could hack it in a tier 1 guild why leave FoH?

Good to know then. A guild mate of mine was not getting runestones last week in our heroic run after getting them in LFR. At least not on sha.

This does not (as far as I can tell) work for Runestones - only for secrets.

The titan runsetone droprate is significantly higher. Go get your last secret from the first two ToT instances (Runestones don't drop here so you won't blow any chances). Finish up the Nalak and scenario BS then run all 4 eligible instances for runestones.

Ah yes AotS I remember them as well. I actually raided with some of the original DW in wow for a brief period and they thought the American EQ guild drama was funny. They weren't all that great in WoW. My guild had dissolved in AQ and they were still struggling with BWL when I was running with them.

yeah yeah yeah, the other one then that does drop in that wing. Anyway, I got my last one threw the lance at Nalak, did the solo scenario shit and still have Lei Shen left this week for an actual Titan Runestone this time. I think I can finish it up in two weeks if runestones drop anywhere...

I tried the very very first EQ progression server with a bunch of people from fiends... Everybody quit when some guild (insidious somethingwrather?) killed nagafen by the time we were in our 30s.

lol. oh no, I mean normal. My guild is about as casual as it gets.

I encountered a fun little bug on my warrior in LFR where I died to Horridon trash and when I release I transported back to the door as a ghost with no body. Everytime I tried to run more than a few yards I would just transport back to the GY point. No other option but to disband which was...

damn SoO heroic is way nerfed since Tuesday. Aside from Garrosh MCs happening like 3x as fast as usual, we never hit an empowered whirl or even had an intermission before p3. And this is from a guild who took 200 wipes back in July to get him down.

If it's a class you plan on playing as your main or even one that gets heavy use as an alt, the free 600 points in professions is nice to have.

In all honesty it doesn't matter too much. It would probably be hard to catch up on something like jewelcrafting (daily recipe RNG thing to get the useful cuts) or enchanting (rep with august celestials for the good enchants) in the few weeks we have left so I don't know if there is any short...

"Good" as in progression oriented, Mythic guild? Or good as in not retarded, play to have fun, normal/heroic mode guild?

Mog set that actually looks good with the cloak: Alavaz @ Senjin - Community - World of Warcraft

My first toon was a troll and anyone who started in Grobb remembers the insane Froglok trains you could amass. The funniest part was b lining it to the guards and alternating between the near death slow walk and regening enough to run again.

HotFix for the levelling dungeons confirmed. 6.0.2 Stat Squish Leveling Concerns - Forums - World of Warcraft I'm hoping they nerf SoO too. At this point I'd never do that bullshit again if I didn't want my loom. Garrosh is all sorts of fucked as he, his adds and empowered MCs have like...

Rotation wise I think ret pally is about perfect. It's the same as it was you just don't have to refresh inquisition which I felt was a rather clunky mechanic. A couple of cooldowns are gone (including devo) so they have less utility than before. Their DPS is still weak comparatively at lvl 90...

Is Ordos proper fucked? I tried out two different pugs and the fire aoe was one shotting a good portion of the raid. We doing it wrong? I'll be honest I don't know the "intended" strategy because its always been stand still and roll face...

I'm guessing the new 30 person cap for sub-mythic raiding is to allow more gradual scaling but we'll see.

Yeah my guild leadership circle was akin to a hippie commune. People gave them money, access to accounts, hell accounts even got donated when people quit playing and they pretty openly sold massive amounts of platinum on ebay. I purposely avoided getting loot first so that I wouldn't be...

Ted crub! They landed on Saryrn though I don't remember them doing much. They may have had some contributing members to saryrns team Japan though I mostly remember Divine Winds being the main guild. They used to chat in say and it literally looked like they were just mashing the keyboard. I'm...

I'm on sen'jin horde side - which I suppose isn't exactly helpful haha. We raid pretty casually on Weds and Sundays (8:30 - 11:30 CST) right now. Will be farming looms until WoD and then doing the heroic tier. Alavaz#1973

Fiends actually had a few of the best MMO players I've ever met. They also picked up a lot of garbage who had been blacklisted everywhere else. If anything though, I'd say that it's actually a testament to their leadership core because they've actually taken some folks who were shit on by the...

You can beat Don Flamenco (1) in like 14 seconds if you get a frame perfect star from a late hit after his first swing.

Time does not equal skill, but all skill is gained with time. We can all throw and catch a ball. Can we all play in the NFL? To me, what separated EQ from it's predecessors was that EQ made it very easy to put in a lot of time and accomplish absolutely nothing. Would I ever do it again? Fuck...

EQ raids were just generally chaotic and in hindsight probably doable with raid sizes that were half or even 2/3rds the size if that force had stable hardware and sufficient knowledge of their class + the encounter mechanics. Even understanding aggro in EQ put you above and beyond the pack in...

I'm on senjin horde. We have two dps wars that regularly raid but could use healers. There are a few that play quite often but most of us are on Wednesdays and Sunday's from 8:30 until 11:30 CST when we raid. Most of us are geared so our new recruits are pretty much guaranteed a spot. Come 6.0...

He says he has a cold, but we know the truth.

Something I figured out a while ago: If you have capped valor and have the buff, you can camp out in Timeless on Monday night and still have it all day Tuesday. It doesn't seem to go away for death, but I have had it disappear for using the trinket as a shortcut back to the quest givers and it...

The hot new shit: Action Bronson & Statik Selektah - Cliff Notes Joell Ortiz - House Slippers

The balls out hack and slash is definitely the coolest looking, sucks though when you are at range doing no damage while you hack away. The tank one, I feel like is the most utilitarian though in that it literally will save your life from time to time.

I honestly don't think they ever said that. The goal for removing abilities has always been to A. reduce the amount of compulsory keybinds for highly situational abilities and B. to get rid of redundant and synergistic abilities that were never used separate from each other (i.e. rotational...
