Big difference between someone trying to pass off splices/TAS vs a Vtuber handing the controller to someone else. Nobody is spending that kind of effort trying to police vtubers.

This is why time travel is ultimately a fucking terrible plot device. How was she even a variant? Was the fact that she was a female Loki at all what made her a variant? If so then why did it take 5 years for her to generate a nexus event? Are those little reset charges supposed to be so...

It doesn't have to be romantic, it could just be the very first time Loki has felt a deep personal connection to another person and that is so profoundly out of character for a Loki that it triggered that deviation on the timeline.
