Can't if you've cut the cord. Ever since I dropped my TV sub from Fios they cut me off after like a 60s "preview" and tell me to sign in.

Which is a good thing they make TFS/Git plugins for the popular IDEs. I've been pushing for Git almost since I got here but our Director wants to use TFS since we've technically paid for it as part of our VS licenses. And somewhere along the way Microsoft decided, hey we should make this work...

Dallas did as much or more to shoot themselves in the face. For instance, the only reason the Vikings even got a TD is because of the fumbled center exchange on the play after Dak's slide (that got moved back 2 yards on a challenge). That miscue forced them to punt and gave the Vikings time to...

Last night was ugly but two huge plays by Dallas got called back on penalties. Hitchen's interception, and Zeke's 43 yard run in the 1st quarter. Both put Dallas deep in Minnesota's territory, but both got negated. Game was closer than it should have been. Refs were absolute shit overall too...

We've moved into the recent past as far as VCS is concerned. Primary method is Sourcesafe, which was discontinued in 2005. Now we're up to TFS 2015 as of this week. I don't think I've seen a place move so slow to adopt modern practices since my time in the Navy.

Can't say no to a win, but damn that was ugly. Zeke had what, 3 long (20+ yards) runs called back? Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. Next up the Giants. Rooting for the Steelers because if they win and Dallas handles its business in their next game, the East is locked up with three...

@ShakyJake I feel for ya bro. Not nearly as bad but I'm currently in the midst of a "small" project that's being built as a workaround for a deficiency in our front end with regards to displaying web pages. Said front end was built in ActionScript and runs through Adobe Air. We've had customers...

So did Convo somehow Araysar his way out of a bet? Because that's pretty weak if he did. As far as the PE thing goes, like I said it's meant to be taken with a grain of salt. Also, Dallas' two "other" teams this year are Tampa Bay, who is nipping at Atlanta's heels in the South and is within...

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

I've always kind of enjoyed the Pythagorean Expectation number as a means to get a larger sense of what might be a reasonable expectation on wins. For instance, the Texas Rangers had a PE number that was around 82 wins, far below the 95 they ended up with, indicating a season of...

All anyone really needs is to make the playoffs. After that, all bets are off. That said, 2007 and 2011 are pretty heavy outliers if you look at the last ten years of the Giants seasons. I mean, they haven't made the playoffs since the last win either, which just goes that sometimes it's better...

Church back at practice. No timeline on Mo but the upside is only Detroit and NYG have anything resembling a decent passing game out of the remaining slate. If the offense keeps doing what it needs to do, and the defense doesn't break all that often, then there's no real need to rush him back...

This was my son. He wouldn't sleep unless we rocked him or had him in one of those auto-swings. I worked nights and both of us had jobs so I was a zombie that first year because of it. Daughter was complete opposite. Used her crib from almost the moment we brought her home, no problems. Kids...

You know, as bad as they've been gashed lately in the air, I have to hand it to the front 7 of Dallas, they're forcing teams into doing that with how well they've played against the run. There's been talk about how they've seen less runs than any other team to date as teams abandon it late in...

Moving on from the Convo Schadenfreude... Yet another test for Dak on Thursday. One of the better pass defenses in the league. I hope Linehan has something in mind to get Zeke going better than the last two games. One thing I didn't see last week was a Lucky Whitehead jet sweep and not nearly...

I'm assuming that ultimately Fisher's problem is that he has too much control over personnel, especially during the offseason when teams usually look to improve upon their deficiencies, right? I've never really paid too much attention to it outside of the memes.

    NFL 2016 - <whatever Tony is doing>

True. To be fair though, if they had the option of throwing down field to someone who could catch a ball reliably I think we'd see less of that. So they're pretty much left with a passing game plan that revolves around YAC, which is basically short throws over the middle and screen passes.

FTFY. Honestly, Wentz is probably going to be solid for the Eagles for a good while. In the end the you are what your record says you are, but his receivers are garbage and moreso than any of his own flubs have directly lead to where they're at.

I don't expect much to change. There's 2-3 big fish on each server right now, with maybe 2-3 almost big fish. The sheer amount of tiny, BS apps that serve a very specific purpose like a_skeleton_03 is proposing is staggering. You can write something in about a day, slap a Google AdSense banner on it, and have it on the market in a very short time.

So now the most obvious threat to Dallas' supremacy is their old foe... the Giants. That team reminds me of the Philly team from 2014, winning through smoke and mirrors (but still winning). Just too many close calls and late heroics. Still dangerous, especially with a banged up secondary but the...

You're in the NFL thread, so yes I educated you on why not just any RB can produce desired results behind that line. Desired results being rushing TDs and short yardage first downs, which they sucked at both last year.

Not just anyone can do it though. Yes, McFadden had 1k yards after taking over as starter last year, but his running style runs counter to the team's preferred method, which is a zone run scheme. Someone actually went through and looked at all his runs and he did less than 3ypc on zone runs...

Yeah, 2015 was his best year overall. His problems stem primarily from inconsistent and largely mediocre play, and dude just can't stop getting hurt. He makes Romo look positively unbreakable by comparison and hasn't had a full 16 game season since 2009.

Cutler era pretty much over now. Jay Cutler expected to miss rest of Bears' season They can cut him this year and only hold $2m in dead cap money. Galaxy of Heroes just dropped a major update that adds ships to the game, which is a completely separate mode of play. You pair up ships with toons from the main game so it's not entirely something you do in a vacuum, but you do need to get ship "blueprints" (tokens) to star them up. Ships...

Elliot didn't hit the century mark via running in several cases, including this last one. His total yards from scrimmage has eclipsed 100 pretty much every week since those first two games though, once he started figuring things out. I wouldn't expect a repeat performance. You make some good...

If it were a Sunday game then I'd put the chances of it being a normal NFCE game as fairly high. As in, highly contested and chippy, down to the wire. But coming off that late game I have a hard time seeing Washington not fading as the game goes on. While not nearly as egregious as what the...
